im trying to find a way to actualy make money alching i cant find any guids on this but there has got to be a way... if some one could fill me in it would be much apreciated...

Pretty much the only way to make money off of alching is to get the Nats for free. This either involves runecrafting them yourself, killing monsters for them, or donations/spawn points. Usually when you add up the cost of one nat and one of the items your alching, it'll cost more than the High-Alch price... which you've already discovered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I myself went through my normal travels, mostly through Slayer, and amassed around 700 nature runes. I alched a bunch of Yew Longs and voila! Profit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, your best best is to craft them yourself, secondly you could collect them as monster drops, and thirdly... donations.

The fastest way probably to get nats is to run nats for someone who doubles them. Buy all the other supplies. You can either buy BS and Yew logs if you want fletching xp, or you could just buy the longs. You make a profit either way.

where do i find some one i can run nats for and how exactly do i get free nats from that i have never run befor...?

If you wanna be a Nat Runner, check the official Runescape forums. If you don't see any posts looking for runners, make one stating your availability and whatnot.

I also make money by buying yew logs, fletching those into longbows, buying flax, crafting those into bowstrings, stringing the bows, buying pure essence, crafting those into nats, grabbing my fire staff and then high alching the lot! Granted, a lot of time is spent making the items but what xp I get. I guess that's why my fletching and magic are 79 and my rc is 66. General cost for everything: yew log-250, flax-100, pure essence-100. That means I spent 450 per bow and can high alch it for 768 each. In addition, I get a lot of xp which is the more important part to me!

To make money off alching, you basically have to make your stuff yourself or buy some/most items as cheaply as possible.

But if you make nats or get Yews yourself you make a profit.

It is almost impossible to alch for profit unless you are supplying at least one of the components yourself, either by making (or running for) the nats, or by making the item you alch as well as sourcing the supplies to fo it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At level 48 (47 + stout) smithing, you can mine 5 iron, 10 coal, smelt 5 steel bars, smith 1 platebody.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A steel platebody high alchs for 1200, giving a 900 profit if you by nats for 300. Try to dispose of steel plates in bulk at the store, and the price will end up below 900 after not very many. Equally, you may find smiths selling bulk platebodies at 900 each - which combined with buying nats at 300, means free mage XP for you.

If you sell your alching supplies, you get more money than if you would actually alch them. So, people do High Alching mostly for cheap Magic Xp.

Tips:-

 

 

 

1. You need to find something which costs lower that its alching price.

 

 

 

2. This cost means ur item's cost+ natures and fire cost < high alching value.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, if u buy a item from a player at 10gp ea. alch them for cost of a nature and fires...the alching should be givin u more money than wat u spend.
