barbarian assault problems and sollutions

please note this thread is about problems in barbarian assault gameplay, entering the game, etc. and not about bugs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

problem: when exiting the ladder during the game because you need to leave your still connected to your team even if you exit the wave room your in, the only way to "un-connect" is to go up the ladder at the south end

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

possible sollutions:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-the scroll has a "remove team" option, its use is, it shows the team leader you signed up for (the person that used the scroll on you) and the option to remove yourself from that team, you can do this during the game if needed in case the team your with is not too great and they keep starting the game before you can remove them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-an instant removal from every connected team your with once you leave the wave room

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

problem: when creating a team you let a person on that you dont want by mistake, but you can only remove him by using the scroll on another player and deleting him

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

possible sollutions:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-when reading the scroll, the players on the team will have a red "x" next to their names in case you wish to remove them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

problem: you usethe scroll on someone and they want to be a certain class but you want them to be a different class, you keep telling them but they have chat set to off or they dont listen

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

possible sollutions:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-an option would come up when you scroll someone to suggest a class, when you click on attack for example, the attacker icon would flash green on the othr persons screen

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

problem: your playing barbarian assault and thir arent enough people there to play...what do you do??

problem: when trying to form a team or join someone elses team a person who you dont want to join wont stop using the scroll on you so you cant do anything because their scroll screen keeps popping up

-when someone uses the scroll on you there will be an option to block them from using the scroll on you, if you need to uncheck this option you can do this in your scroll with the new "block list" button, it will birng up all the people you blocked and a check box

Yeah, there are always things wrong with mini-games, matter of fact, every GAME. It's just simple, everyone can't get along, unfortunantly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eh, you shouldn't be able to exite from your team without them exiting, you need a team. The AI idea isn't great, again you need a real team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, and this belongs in Suggestions, but seeing on how BA is still new, and deserves the attention, they'll probably just keep it in General P2P.

You need to sorta update your post a bit more. Like Bold the Problems and Color the Solutions? A Bit hard to read.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a few current problems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As it stands.. the most difficult problem in BA is forming and containing a Team. You can be invited and join multiple teams at the same time. Not only that, if your the leader, its hard to delete team members. You also have 0 information on your current teams standing, as who is in the team, who is out, ect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is my Solution to the problem.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When you walk into the Random Room where anyone can join and be any role.. it shows you X amount of Attackers, Healers, Collectors, Defenders at the top right of the screen. Did a light just pop in your head? It should have! #-o

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is EXCATLY how it should be when you are in a team!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rules:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. When accepted into a team, you cannot be accepted into any other team inless you leave your current team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. You may not pick up a recruitment scroll if you are in a team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Team Leaders should have a Icon over their head to show that they are hosting a team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Players should have the ability to ask for a invitation than waiting for the Leader to use a scroll on them. Right Click - Invitation to Join.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for letting your Team know about your Current Teams Standing, it should look like this.

What's a good caombat level to start playing BA?

Theres also a problem when using the horn of glory. It sometimes exits the interface at a whim, but you dont get your buttons back (you only keep friends, ignore, and log out).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After that all you can do is click the horn and wander around aimlessly, because you cant do anything anymore, not even use your stuff in your inventory...

well, the horn of glory thing is considered a bug, this is about problems concerning joining the game and stuff
