About Mazexl Jr , and why 85 mining?

 

 

 

I'm currently 14 years old and living in the Netherlands, I'm still in school so i dont have to much time for Runescape, but all time i got on my hands i will probly be mining ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will probly think by yourself : Oh no , not another one with a goal in his head he aint gonna make anyway. I cant blame you for that, i had goals before but only reached few of thim.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But this one is different to me, because my brother also set a goal for hiself : 99 woodcutting. So i thougt i'd join him with a goal i always wanted... 85 mining

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Were will i be training?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will be training in birmhaven , at the C spot with 10 gold rocks and a gold ore spawm. You probly will wonder : Why the heck is he training on gold ores?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will tell you why, because this lvl 85 Mining also has got a little side goal : 85+ Smithing.

 

 

 

I calculated i need 44,000 gold ores for 85 mining , and about 43,700 for 83 smithing. That puts me awfull close that that 85 + smithing. So im using this way. I am banking all my ores, but not with the regular way , i got my own special way.

Sunday 14th jan 2007:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I woke up this morning , got to mining a bit and got 59 mining , i missed picture but i promise from now one i will capture every level's picture. I took a little break from mining and went PKing some with my mates, pked a full mystic, nothing big but its alright. Went back to mining and posting this blog meanwhile :).

 

 

 

Also got 60 mining , just 25 levels to go :thumbsup:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday 15 jan 2007:

 

 

 

So today it whas a school day again , sitting in class and listining to anoyed teachers.. i hate mondays..

 

 

 

But at 2PM finally the bells ring , freedom. I get on my bike and bike home , once home i eat something and turn on my computer with the smile on my face of : Lets go some more mining levels!. Once logged in i see almost my whole friendlist turned green ,i thougt : what is everyone doing on W44? I get my pickaxe and go to my mining spot , i see all green dots. Apperntly someone organized a alch fest there to keep me company, we celebrated my 61 mining also lol , overall it whas a good mining day , no competertors.. yet...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thuesday , 16 jan 2007 ,

 

 

 

Today nothing really special happend , got out of school , got on RS and lvled .. if i keep up like this ill be 85 in no time :XD:

gl with this, it'll be a tough long ride..but it'll be worth it in the end defiently...crafting the gold bars or selling the bars?

I dont know yet, might craft thim for the xp , or sell thim for the cash... if anyone got a way to combine those two , please share :P

Well if you're a member you can craft saphire rings and enchant them. Then sell them for 1.5-2k ea.

You have a long, hard road ahead of you. Going from 54 smithing to 60 smithing using gold nearly killed me >.<

Yes , its a long road.. and i might go for 99 mining & smithing after this. If i mine all gold ores myself i only have to buy like 35k after that for 99 smithing.. sounds pretty intresting \

why don't you just powermine the iron? wouldn't that take a lot less time?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

otherwise, gl on your goal, and I think you should definitely smith all the gold ores.

also since your using the gold ores to get to 85 mining...heres a more then helpful tidbit of info for you

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not sure if you know but after you beat the "between the rock..." quest, you gain access to the gold mines there which have over 140 gold ore spawns in there :!:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and banking is not to far away either just pop off your helmet and out u go...run over to the ferry man and give him your gold ores for him to bank for you...its just that simple

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

O and dont forget your ring of charos (a) :XD: he takes less ores per trip from u that way :mrgreen:

Good Luck with your goal of 85, it is really hard but as you can see from my signature I have ALMOST accomplished it lol! Hope you get there as quick as possible.
