Love your family, your friends, and your neighbor, unless he/she's a jerk to you for no reason. Believe in what you want. Don't let others tell you what to do.

People are irresponsibles morons. <--- I've yet to be proven wrong.

Try not to take anything to the extreme. Moderation is the key.

edit: Oh and smile. Being a pessimist sucks.

Absolutism.

Do the right choices and dont let others take control of you unfairly.

^_^ I agree with you about moderation. Though I tend to be a pessimist sometimes. :(

Another philosophy of mine is to treat everyone with respect, as though you were talking to someone in your own family. Be nice and considerate to others unless you feel they have done something to take away that privilege. Always be loyal to those close to you, and stand up for what you believe in. Try to find good in every situation.

But for real, I believe you should live your life only for you, and on average you only have 80 years to do something with your life, and on average only 65 of those years you are healthy enough to. So do something that makes you feel content, and die content at heart.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Yea, I can say that is pretty hard to prove wrong. But if you look closely, there is a world full of responsible, respectable people.

And you've yet to prove it right. Unless you have proof that you have met with every single person and found them to be moronic.

Philosophy can't be proven correct thats the point.

What he posted wasn't a philosophy. It was a blanket insult of the entire human race including himself.

summerpngwy6.jpg

I'm sure he probably didn't mean it anyway. However it could be a philosophical view of human nature. Not a very pleasent one but one some philiosophers would partly agree with.

Yeah, anthropological pessimism. The belief that humans are by nature evil beings. But not moronic or irresponsible :P

summerpngwy6.jpg

My philosophies for life...

Respect others as you would want to be

Have an open mind

Be yourself, not someone else

Be optimistic

Free yourself from mental slavery; have everyting in moderation (most of the time) :P

Listen to music, it will set you free

I'll add more later.

Optimism=good

Live your life for you, but don't shove others out of your way.

Listen and help others, it makes you feel good.
