Will Runescape extend Up down or through Islands?

You can never tell with Jagex, they will expand the runescape world in a total 5 dimensions. (1. East to west, 2. North to south, 3. Up and down, 4. Past and Future, 5. Alternate realities [Abyss, for example]) I wonder if they will mess with a 6th dimension, alternate timelines, and start messing around with paradoxes and brain numbing things like that? Time travel can be done in runescape, as seen in RFD, and some events can lead to paradoxes, but the gypsy stops you. What would happen if the gypsy was not there?

That would be awesome if there was a quest where you see yourself in the past with flashbacks, where you have save the current reality, and that if you complete it, the current reality becomes an alternate reality with new items and new areas.

Well my pals from Jagex said that they are making a whole new city in the desert and a quest with Zaros. Zaros will own all civilians and it's up to you to stop him.

Right... may I ask for some proof? :-k

It would be funny if we could go back to the days holday items were dropped. You go to pick up a phat and (insert quest storyline here).

They can just extend the map like they have always done, they have all the land they will ever need because they can continue to expand it...

Actually, no. They have already defined where the coasts of the main continent are, they can't just keep moving out.

I don't want to have to do a combat based Tzhaar quest - if Tz-Tok-Jad can't handle something, I don't want to even try. I would love to see a continuation of the Myreque (expanding Morytania) and Elven (expanding the west) storylines, as well as Keldagrim. We already know that the Temple Knight HQ is close to Keldagrim (you can see it from the between a rock gold mines). The situation developing in Forgettable Tale could certainly be one of interest to the temple knights...

We still have the continuation of a bunch of other temple knight storylines too (slugs, devious minds...)

The bad guys in devious minds seem dictintly samurai-ish. The bolt rack guy in Port Phasmatys mentioned his land being to the east. Maybe we will see a Japan analogy?

Maybe they're accepting other cultures to rs?

Hmmm... I think Jagex could expand just about anywhere they want to. They could make islands pop up out of no where, extend the deserts until all they can see is sand, and so on.
