Doughnut
We all know that if Runescape is too continue it will be inevitable that a new area will come out, now how do you think its going to happen? Will it eventually lead to a "Sky palace" or maybe a new dwarven underground area. Or will they just go and release/add-on to the surface of Runescape? gonzlar
It will be a combination of both. They are bound to release a new territory east of the desert due to the straight line sectioning it off. They are also likely to be expanding apon the tzhaar caves this year. I doubt they will release a sky palace. The self-proclaimed king of bronze.

mikehild
I'm all in for a city in the sky, and instead of adding a new underground area, I think they should just develop Keldagrim more.

Foooman
If they add something there better be a teleport there. I'm growing too lazy to walk. Tzhaar cave expansion pl0x!

Walking to a city in the sky would be pretty hard, don't you think? I don't think a city in the sky would be impossible. You can already walk on clouds in the killerwatts domain. The means of getting there, however, is a whole 'nother story.
darkjab
Personally I think they are going to release an Eastern Continent, which we may be able to buy Katana's from steel to rune :) I also happen to believe that the desert will also be slighty expanded further eastwards and it will be linked by a quest to the battle between that Zamorak and Zaros follower. The western lands will be expanded further west but im not sure why I think that really, it seems too small at the moment. The north will be slightly expanded when the 'Cold War' quest get's released, and I also think we are going to be able to go deeper underground from Keldagrim. Which I happen to think may end up revealing a new high level monster that should drop a dragon pickaxe :)

Peronix
tzhaar and lost city places is all i care about... also, fairy rings brought us other dimensional possibilities. Yeah I'd personally like to see a quest or two come out of Tzhaar. Seeing as how the citizens there are all pretty high leveled, it would probally take a real challenge for them to actually need your help; so mabye we will see a high level quest or two come out of this place? Will H
You can never tell with Jagex, they will expand the runescape world in a total 5 dimensions. (1. East to west, 2. North to south, 3. Up and down, 4. Past and Future, 5. Alternate realities [Abyss, for example]) I wonder if they will mess with a 6th dimension, alternate timelines, and start messing around with paradoxes and brain numbing things like that? Time travel can be done in runescape, as seen in RFD, and some events can lead to paradoxes, but the gypsy stops you. What would happen if the gypsy was not there? ~ W ~

sweety6556
i bet they will update the elven city. after all, its just some walls right? and tzhaar is probably likely also. personally, id like a woodcutting guild \
iwatake
Judging by the world map, the likely areas for expansion are: the area just south of the Piscatoris fishing colony, south of the Poison waste, south of the Feldip hills hunter area, the desert, (obviously) the area south of Port Phasmatys, (obviously) and the area east of the Trollweiss Mountain, which I think will be part of the "Cold war" quest :

warren211
It may be both. Or perhaps, similar to house portals, maybe there would be a portal that sends you to an area which you can not get to any other way? [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. malo2
theres alot of potential in all direction, east, west, north, south, and down. To the east, were expecting a whole other continent, from Port Phasmatys. To the west, we saw that the world map once showed some inaccessible green on the other side of the water from ilsafdar. Up north, we know that the Miscellania princess is planning to set up trade routes with islands to the north. To the south is most obvious, because the land is cut off at the desert, and Field Tip Hills. Downwards, we know that Thzaar is going to have an expansion in the future (looking forward to it :) ), the goblin city will be released soon as well, and we can be quite confident in expansions of Keldaghrim, as the red axe storyline continues. Zodiak12
I'd like to see the Prifddinas open up through a decent quest. See the 9 elven towers and maybe something about Seren (I read the tomes :P ). Something in the TzHarr would be cool too, it seems like more happens than appears, like some TzHaar king watching over you in a sky box battling in the fight caves, like some kind of Roman blood sport
