Actually, if you just get 25 ess, you can make your first 50-60k in about an hour at world 16 airs. From there you can merchant to your heart's content.

You only need rune mysteries to mine ess or craft airs from my understanding, but even if you did need rune mysteries it's not a quest with really any requirements and I don't see how it'd be all that related to these guys.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways, yah I saw he said he merchanted, I was just throwing out a possiblity on how he would get the money to start, since, as Blueey said, you really need at least a bit to start merchanting. Another way he could've gotten the cash to start would be the 15k from S.O.S., which, while not a ton, should be enough to start if you needed to.

It's VERY hard. Maybe once you get 100k or so it's easy.

 

 

 

But the profit from each time you buy is so small that it would take many hundreds times to actually reach a decent ammount of money which you can then start merchanting at(100k).

 

 

 

Someone sold me full sara at 1k gp.
