February 4, 200719 yr I've done a bajillion Barrow's runs, and managed to snag Verac's Plateskirt and just recently his Brassard. But I'm wondering if I'm going about it the wrong way. Some general stats: Armoured Brothers Farseer Helm Blue Mystic Top/Bottom/Boots Gloves from Culimancer's (sp?) chest Saradomin cape Glory amulet Ring of Life Holy prayer book Air battlestaff For the Archer and Mage Brother Archer's Helm Red dragon chest/legs Gloves from Culimancer's (sp?) chest Saradomin Cape Glory Amulet Ring of Life Holy prayer book Karil - DDS for the special, and whip for normal Ahrim - Magic shortbow with Mithril arrows Spells - I used to do Iban blasts but having to recharge the blasted thing wasn't worth it. I've switched to Fire Wave. Inventory - Ectophial, spade, holy wrench, druid pouch to protect food from Ghasts, eight potatos with sweetcorn and tuna for food, and roughly eight prayer potions (4 doses). I always manage all right, I have never died there; but I don't want to break my bank waiting for a Barrow's drop. I swear some of you people would think it was a fair update if we had a lever you could pull which gave you 99 all stats and any item you liked. ----- Paul Gower; Runescape Senior Content Designer

February 4, 200719 yr some advice use slayer dart if u use 8 p pots per run ur doin it wrong wat r ur stats? ive had 90 dry runs and it ended in t hams Thanks SkyFleet for the awsome siggy!

February 4, 200719 yr If I knew how to link the Tip.it Barrows guide I would post it for you. Look under Mini Games on the main Tip.it page. It has very good information on Barrowing for different leveled players and includes inventory and gear suggestions as well as strategies for killing the brothers and navigating the tunnel to the chest. Well worth a read. :)
February 4, 200719 yr Even the player made guides forum here has some pretty good guides using different tactics (i.e. little to no prayer pots, with/without guthans, etc.). But like Mr Cheeses said, slayer dart for rune efficiency (usually get all the runes you use up back). Not sure what your current levels are, but raise your construction to make a kharyll(sp) portal (if you don't already have one). And make home tele-tabs. 2 full prayer pots each run is a bit much. Switch to your best melee armor (with the melee brothers low magic def, you'll still hit them a lot) and try not praying on torag and guthan. That should save a few doses there. best range armor for ahrim and no prayer on him. Also, make sure you're using safe spots in the tunnels, if you're tunnel brother is a melee brother, then you won't have to worry about prayer there either. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]
