Herblore question

I'm trying to level my herblore, I read tip.it's herblore guide and it was pretty basic, so i was wondering if anyone could suggest some good herb droppers near a bank, My stats are to the left with my RSN.

also i'm trying to train range at the moment, any spots that i could range with safespot, or if they are low enough of a level, no safe spot.

kills druids in wild 1-3 at edgeville dungeon, the bank is very very close and they never hit watch out for pkers.

yeah i know of that spot, I was hoping to stay out of the wildy, but if thats the best spot then i will try.

just dont bring more then 3 items and when u see a pker or someone within your lvl with a skull run.

you could kill chaos druids in yanille agility dungeon. just be shure to bring a antipoison in case of failing obstacles. or if your thieving is high enough (82 i think you need) you can simply walk down trhough the door

The trick to get high herblore is to be smart in the buying/selling of potions.

 

 

 

There are 2 ways to "power-train" herblore:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- or you spend a lot of cash on the ingredients, and make your money back by selling the potions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- or you could get the herbs 'yourself', two ways here or just kill chaos druids OR use your kingdom and put your workers on herbs. They give a nice amount of herbs a week and you don't have to do anything for it!

I was walking between Ardougne and Gnome Stronghold about 15 minutes ago and I saw a building with a ! (dungeon) sign on the minimap with around 4-6 chaos druid spawns. A very short walk if you have 33 agility to travel across river to bank in Ardy. Not sure of requirements to get into building though... Anybody know?

Wilderness Chaos Druids, and men. That is about it.

Yea, the Chaos Druids are probably your best bet for being so close to a bank. The Men in the Edgeville Hut or Seers Bar also work, but they don't drop nearly as many herbs. I've collected herbs in the Edgeville Dungeon for many hours, and only one attempt was made to PK me, which failed miserably. Just bring a quick teleport method; whether it be a Glory, Ring of dueling, tele tablet, ectophial, etc.

 

 

 

Also, a bit further from a bank (but close to a Fairy Ring) are Basilisks in the Slayer Dungeon. Assuming you have 40 slayer and a mirror shield, they drop lots of high level herbs, nats, and water runes, along with some alchable drops.

Cave crawlers in the relekka slayer dungeon are great too, they are 2 by 2 so you can savespot them. They also drop waterfilled vials and seconds. Just be sure to have antidote with you, they can poison for 8. You can bank in seers with camelot teleport.

Farming is the best possible way to get herbs in the game, second to that would be Pest Control (must be in a PC team to be effective) when you get 10 points you get like 14 herbs, it's a shorter period of time compared to Chaos Druids which would come in third. But if you cant get in Affliction (90 combat) Chaos Druids and farming are your best choice.

I was surprised to find how often Flesh Crawlers in the Security Stronghold dropped good herbs. It's not terribly far from the bank if you tele out and the Flesh Crawlers are a nice low level with auto-attack so it's pretty quick work :)

Also, if you train to 82 thieving, you can use the chaos druids in Yanille. It's one door away from a bank, then down the stairs.

If you're going to kill monsters, forget chaos druids - they're often crowded, and don't drop anything else good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The best monster to kill for herb drops are Banshees You will score a ton of pure ess, level 1 clues, and a few pairs of black/red mystic gloves. If you have ancients or a Kharyrll portal in your house, banking and getting back to the tower is fairly quick.
