thank in advance :)

Well, as far as free to play goes, I'd say Varrock Sewers.

should of thought of telling you: i am a member.

where is it?...

There are many, many places that will work just fine.

All you need is any place where the monsters can't reach you.

So you could try:

-- cast from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water into the 4 zombie room.

It's perfectly safe and it's a multi-combat zone so you will almost always have a target.

-- white knight castle. Try the screen/torture room on the second floor.

Cast through the screens. Again, it's a multi-combat zone.

-- Port Sarim jail

-- Caged red monk under the Varrock palace stairs.

-- Caged lesser in the wizzy tower. Multi-combat zone.

-- Al-Kharid scorpions from above on the rim.

-- river ducks

Just make sure that you wear gear that gives you the lowest magic attack stat.

With a bronze full helm, chest plate, legs, boots, dragonhide vambraces,

and an elemental staff you can get to about -68.

That's enough to always fail when casting Curse.

All you really need is a safe multi-combat spot.

Hope this helps

Caged red monk under varrock castle stairs worked perfect for me.

I kept hitting the various monsters that I tried, and got REALLY annoyed. I ended up training on Black Dragons :P

Use the best metal armour you can equip and the best dhide vambs you can equip.

Yeah thats the best place, even if you do hit, he'll just shake it off in about 2 seconds

No, Bronze and Rune have exactly the same negative magic attack stats.

What is your Magic attack stat?

With full helm, plate, legs, kite shield, SoS boots you should be able to get -68.

If you add in a staff to save on runes then you need to also wear green dragonhide vambraces to stay at -68.

That's enough for me, at level 81 magic, to always fail.

Hope this helps

...Yeah thats the best place,

Well, to be considered the "best" place it needs to be a multi-combat spot.

That way, you will always have a target.

... even if you do hit, he'll just shake it off in about 2 seconds

If you do occasionally hit, then you probably aren't wearing the right gear.

You can get -68 easily and always fail.

Hope this helps

it happend to me to you have then not enough negative bonus, i had it to you need to make sure you have -65 use SOS boots and dhide vambs, and any full amour.

what do you mean by fail curse?

When you cast a Curse and it "hits" the monster you get

29 magic exp and you can't re-curse the monster for awhile.

When you cast a Curse and it "fails" on the monster you get

29 magic exp and you can immediately try again on the same monster.

You always get 29 magic exp.

So, you might as well "fail" so you can keep on using the same monster.

Multi-combat areas are good places to cast in since

you will almost always have a target available.

The Curse spells gives more exp than any Strike type spell (Mind rune)

and costs far less than Chaos and Death runes.

So, it provides a very cost effective way to raise magic.

It's about 1 magic exp per 1 gp spent.

All of the runes can be made in F2P.

Runecrafting Body runes gives the most F2P RC exp

and the Body altar is close to the Edgevill bank if you use

the shortcut on the west side of the Barbarian village.

You can't auto-cast the spell but you can use

an Earth or Water staff to save on Runes.

Hope this helps

To get the lowest mage attack you can wear:

granite helm

fighting top

grantie legs

black d hide vambraces

snakeskin/ranger boots

granite shield

With the mud staff this comes to -102 mage attack.
