Bones_Zero
Curse is the slowest, but probably the cheapest way. lulz @ rs
Jock66600
Magic lamps! Cheap and slow but if you don't want to do that fail curse the Zammy Druid in that cage in Varrock Castle.
Dexek
Fire bolt is quite cheap and effective. Once your mage is higher try maging lesser demons, since they are weak to mage, and can have rune med drops. High alching is cheap, but is rather slow. yeoldecorvette
~High-Alch from 55 Magic - 99 Magic. Use Fire Bolt until 55, buy Green Dragonhide Armour / Steel Plate and alch them.~ ~For Members' - PC or Alching.~
Captainkidd
Why would you want to get 70 magic if you f2p? Anyways, I'd just say do, magic. Because theres no good way to level it up fast, other then casting the highest spell you can at your level, I guess you could try cursing, its desent and fast exp, just theres alot or clicking. Goobore
My mage is 36, I want it to be 70. What's the cheapest (F2P) way of training it? Failed Curses The cost is zero gp (only time) if you make your own runes. Otherwise, it's about 1 gp spent per 1 magic exp earned. Strike spells (Mind runes) give less exp for about the same cost. Chaos and Death rune based spells give more exp but cost a lot more. Fally teleport, likewise, gives good exp but is expensive. Hi-alching gives good exp but requires enough of something worth Hi-alching. Enchanting (Cosmic) gives good exp but, again, requires enough things to enchant. It would take, at most, 24580 failed Curses to reach your goal. That should cost you less than 740000 gp Hope this helps
keithkannon
Curse XP may be cheap, but it doesn't raise my HP. So, any Free to play suggestions that raise HP and are relativley cheap and doesn't take ages? Or am I asking to much? :-s

Goobore
Curse XP may be cheap, but it doesn't raise my HP. So, any Free to play suggestions that raise HP That means that you must use Mind, Chaos, or Death runes Average exp per cast is: Fire Strike = 19 Fire Bolt = 34 Fire Blast = 50 ..and are relativley cheap Cheapest would be Mind runes. Cost is zero (only time) if you make them yourself. ...and doesn't take ages? It's always gonna take "ages", lol ...Or am I asking to much? :-s You are. This is Runescape after all... You could try Crumble Undead (average exp per cast = 39) It's a sort of compromise between leveling speed and cost. Raising skills is usually a compromise between time and money. You can usually speed things up if you have the money to spend. Or, get members. They have far more options for leveling than does F2P. Hope this helps
