Well hello everyone, its been a while (for me) since ive really visited this forum, last few days ive had it busy with school, and i could do just small things, post a few posts, but ive made a new version of my volcano.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ive changed the position of the sun, so you can actually see the mountain and not something of a darkblue slope with lava and ashes, this time ive created something like an early version of the v1, this one still has a sun and some shadow, and no lava

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ive also made another work, a photomanipulation, at full view i think it isnt so good as it looks a little smaller, its a photo of a guy which looks pretty evil, this made me thinking and i thought of manipulating it into a devil, which came out pretty good, but after that i thought it would be nice to also add something good in it, and there it was, the left, good, side :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And last but not least, Valles Marines, the grand canyon of mars, the real valles marines is like the grand canyon of mars, its a huge , really huge canyon, and the rovers landed pretty near it, at mars the skies are pink , i first added a small earth in the sky, but i couldnt make the detail and stuff right, so i dropped that and just left the valles marines there

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the volcano took me about 2,5 hours and the manip about 2, the link to the old devil-only version is in the Demonical angel story, valles marines took me about 30 mins to get the good view and camera and stuff and about 20 to render it , more detail at the story under the image

With the way the shadow is on the volcano, the sun should be behind it, but it looks like its coming from the front of it.

Nah it looks like its coming from the back... otherwise there wouldn't be that shadow from the smoke... anyways great job.

Meh, its just how I see it. Just that the shadow of the smoke looks weird.

The shadow is wacked :? It looks like the whole world is tilted and the smoke is leaning toward the ground :? The devil/angel looks like it was made in paint. Overall ok, just needs some work.

yeah, the shadow was weird , i know, but it would be even weirder if there was a mile high plume getting out of the mountain and the sun was still shining on the ground :S

if you'r going to try to change the hair colour, use color balance, or make it black and white and use color balance, unless that's your style. \:

He didnt mean it seriously, It was just to express that it was very simple, and very simple could be compared to paint, as paint is very simple..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ofcourse he knows that it isnt made in paint..Thats fairly obvious..

The volcano looks a lot nicer than before. Adding in the texture on the volcano alone made it a lot better. 8/10.
