February 16, 200719 yr I am starting to gig, and I want some insparation/help. All the sites I've been to only give tabs, even if tyhere called like A-Z chords :? Anyone here who plays guitar know a good site with a !CHORD! songbank? Going for 2.4 bil cabbage, plz donatecurrently at 120 cabbage =/

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

Hm, I don't recall being up my own wagon about ANYTHING. I recall being rather saddened by the fact that everyone seems to think that the same chord formation is the answer to all of their worries. I am by no means very good at playing, in fact I blow, but I do take pride in the fact that I'm not as excessively bland as other players. I don't see why you need to be up my wagon and spamming the thread. handed me TWO tissues to clear up. I was like "i'm going to need a few more paper towels than that luv"
February 16, 200719 yr Why don't you just make your own using the major scale? Its really easy, if you want me to i can type out the specifics of each chord. Everybody lovin' it, but ain't no body touchin' it

And im not that great at guitar so plz tell me, what are fifths :D ( prob heard of them but never played ) Fifths are power chords. They are the chords used in basically all rock/punk songs and are very bland and generic, but not always. I'll give an example: A D5 chord is a powerchord with the root of D. It has two other notes other than the root, these being the 5th note (the note 7 frets up from the root) and the octave of the root note (the note 12 frets up from the root).
February 18, 200719 yr at http://www.ultimate-guitar.com you can filter out your results to show only those that give you just chords, but like was mentioned earlier, it is better to just use the tab and figure out the chords, and a lot of tabs even have the chords written alongside them.
