Quick question about teleother spells

Featured Replies

If i cast teleother on another player but the player declines getting teleported to that plafce, do i still get exp for the spell?

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

I'm pretty sure you don't get exp if it's declined, otherwise mages wouldn't need volunteers to cast teleother on.

- If they are trading you cannot cast spell and you don't win xp or lose runes.

- If they have accept aid off you cannot cast spell and you don't win xp or lose runes.

- If they decline teleport you win xp.

- If they accept teleport you win xp.

You win xp everytime you cast the spell. No need to wait them accept or decline.

If they decline you don't lose the runes though correct?

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.

You lose the runes and win xp when you cast the spell, the player may only answer the question 30 min later.

if they didn't lose runes but WON the xp, all you'd have to do is get some one to decline every one of your spells and you'll raise your mage lvl without losing runes

True, just seems some people would be declining just to make someone lose runes.

As long as i use runes i will get the exp? Thanks for the replies so far

you will always get the xp for casting the spell. if the person is trading or has accept aid off then you wont cast the spell. if you cast the spell you will raise your arms and little light beams will rise from you. when you cast the spell runes will be taken away. when you see the little light beams leave the other person that means they accepted the tele. even if they dont accept the tele you still get xp for casting it. if they dont accept you dont get runes back. the reason you need voulinteers is because most people turn off accept aid.

Your thinking Lunar Telegroup spells. The teleother spells only send one person away and the caster doesn't move.
