el_chico
i want to know What is the influence of the level of a skill in Stats?? For example i'm 60 in magic. Will My defence against magic be better? how? lvl 60 in magic = 60 in magic attack stats and 60 in defence stats? I hope that i have been clear but it's hard to explain that, and i'm not good at english:S http:
twr_phr33k
Levels are just levels. The greater your magic level the more spells you can unlock. Nothing special (exception for Slayer Dart, higher magic = high hits). Your magic level does not have an influence on your defense to magic, but Defense level and armour do. marnuke
Your magic level does not have an influence on your defense to magic, but Defense level and armour do. that is wrong....magic does affect your magic defense...but range does not affect your range defense and att/str does not affect melee defense. Also No levels increase your equip stats if that is what you mean by stats. Barrows drops: ahrims staff (2), karils coif, karils xbow, torags plate body, veracs helm. darkblade986
Attack: Increases accuracy of hits Strength: Increases attack power Defense: Decreases opponent's accuracy Range: Increases your Range strength Magic: Increases defense against magic Cooking: Burn less food Woodcutting: Cut logs faster Fishing: Catch fish faster Mining: Mine ores faster Agility: Recover energy faster Theiving: Increased theiving success rate That's about all I can think of in the lines of skills helping out an ability. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
el_chico
I really though. So if i understand , Attack influence the accurancy of hits, but just for melee attack? And a good level in magic or ranger does not influence the accurancy of hits? (with spell or arrow) So if it's true, a non member who have a level 99 in magic is as good as a non member lvl59? (they have the same spell, fire blast) Still an other question :boohoo: , I want to know if anyone know how Jagex count the equipement stats and level in the combat...It seems to be hard to do a good balance with own lvl , opposent lvl, own equipements stats, opposent equipements stats... I have an idear of this but there are a lot of luck that it's wrong. For example, i m casting a spell on an other player. So with my idea: (luck for my spell to inflige the max hit that i can in purcents)=My magic lvl+magic attack bonus -(opponent's magic defence bonus + opponent's magic lvl) For example i'am a mage lvl 99 and i wear a wizard hat(+3 in attack i guess and i 'm fighting another mage lvl 75 but he have 25 in magic defence bonus So 99+3-75-25=3% It certainly faulse but perhaps with coefiscient... http:
gspbeetle
I really though. so with my idea: (luck for my spell to inflige the max hit that i can in purcents)=My magic lvl+magic attack bonus -(opponent's magic defence bonus + opponent's magic lvl) maybe we are going a bit off topic here... it had been tested that, the equipments bonus wont affect max hit... anyway... i think magic level affects the chance of failing a spell (splash) but your defence level affects the chance of hitting a 0... the magic amour bouns seems to be using the magic level instead of defence level... well, like i am wearing rune amour with negative bonus, i got very few splashes but i still receive 0s... also given that magic is the only bonus with a negative figure... Babyshambles
Higher magic level also increases spell accuracy.
Gin_and_Tonic
Higher magic level also increases spell accuracy. True. Also, if you're like 99 mage you'll hit wind strike more time than you'd hit barrage. The lower the spell and the higher your level, the more likely you'd be to hit.
