Clans in 5 Years?

If Runescape Is even still around 5 years from now I cannot see it having the same pk style it has now Im sure they are going to change the game to benifit it for clans seeing how clans are pretty much keepin the game alive as it is. I bet they will have more organized fighting spots for clans so thier will probley be alot more clans with less amount of members in them.

It all depends on the future of runescape.

Clan Support will partly determine that as well. If JAGeX releases good clan support, clans will flourish.

You never know just how clans will act in the future. They'll merge, split, disband, be created, etc... In reality, people aren't going to want to merge all that much. Splitting means they're still the same group, just different parts. The weak, newer clans will be disbanded quickly, so JAGeX itself seems to decide the fate of clans. But hey, you never know.

clans are communities that just grow and grow or die out, that would be cool if someone was smart enough to get a clan with like 1000 members. Only everyone wants to take down other clans.

 

 

 

What would be cool, and minimize the number of clans, would be to create alliances. Alliance wars would rule, I havnt been ar ound in a long time, whats the biggest war to ever happen? most people? Just imagine 1000 vs 1000

1000 vs 1000 would not ever happen unless jagex decided to host clan servers. theirs alway's at least 500 people on a world. and for a big clan like that organization and dissiplin must be a very difficult challenge. true they have alot of people to draw from for events but how do you keep track of who's active and who's not? that would take alot more than our 9 ranks of controll Ill tell you.

 

 

 

personaly I think clans are dieing out along with the populerity of the game. in 5 years time I expect to see alot less great clans as leaders get tired of playing and more little clans with around 30 or so members.

 

 

 

their might still be a few great one's left but I think its going to degenerate just as the soviet empire degenerated into smaller states after its collapse.
