Fishing amulet

Are you frustrated at only catching a few swordfish and mainly catch tuna?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Are you mad at buying extra feathers because you caught too little salmon?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well if there were a type of fishing enhancing device this would be less of a problem. If there was some kind of amulet or ring that would increase the chances of getting a better fish; rather like the ring of wealth. This could make fishing easier and less frustrating if you really only need swordfish.

i like this idea =) but if someone only just turned the level to fish say... swordies and had a amulet they would (in theory) only be getting swordies and more exp.... making fishing incredibly easy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if you were thinking just to increace your chances of getting a better fish or more often (like a charged ammy of glory for gems) i think its a perfic idea =)

Yes i didn't mean only fish swordies i meant it like this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you average normally at 10/28 of swordies, with the amulet you would be averaging 13/28 so not a major increase but making it easier. Also, i don't think that it should be dropped, i think it should be a quest reward so everyone could have it.

The requirement for it would be in the 50's, why? Because swordfish is the only decent fish until monkfish so people would mainly use it for that. Although higher level fishers would probably use it for fly fishing at Shilo (like myself :D )

I like this idea but maybe make it like the cooking gauntlets: above a certain level you'll catch more of 1 kind of fish with the amulet. You could make it a quest reward similar to the cooking gauntlets and then have a NPC who will change the fish you catch the most of if you ask it. As well as this I think you would have to make it a necklace because all amulets and rings are being used.

I didn't mean make it yourself, i meant that it isn't made out of a gem therefore able to be an amulet :)

i think it should be craftable after a quest (im a fond crafter.... but i quit rs now :( )

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

after the quest you can use a knife on say.... a swordie and you get the spine out of it or something and maybe be able to craft a silver fish head and attach it to the spine and enchant it? sounds a bit farfetched but i only throwing out a suggestion =)

I think it's a good idea, there are hardly any items that are related to fishing.

good idea, but wed need a mining amulet for more gems while mining too. (just like that thing that gives you more chances of getting a bird nest while wcing) Pic done. thats a time record.

Harrinator as far as I am aware a fully charged Glory Amulet gives you a gem bonus while it is worn when mining. That said that is a very nice picture of an amulet and was well done.
