  1. Unfortunately, it doesn't include slayer. However both of those quests involve an end fight which would be extremely difficult for anyone with low combat stats, especially Grim Tales - Glod (boss monster) is immune to poison melee and you wouldn't have the option for any other kind of poison. As well as that, if you look at the prerequisite quests for Royal Trouble you'll find you gain xp in other combat stats (Hero's Quest and Fremmenik Trials, are the two.) It makes more sense to me to gain the extra hp and combat levels for the safety margin they provide you though.
  2. OK, this is getting really out of hand. There's no need for us to sink down to m4tty's level and start flaming him. All that will accomplish is getting this post locked and I've the feeling m4tty would like to see that happen. Why give him what he wants? Seriously we don't need to reply to m4tty and continue this cycle of flaming. m4tty, stop acting like you on this forum, with your "did I give you permission to speak?" thing. It has no place here. This is a forum - a place for discussion, not a propaganda station for us to listen to you. If you don't want to take part in a serious discussion why post here at all? So, could you please leave this thread and stop flaming people? Its not doing anything but irritating people and setting them against you.
  3. Great comeback! Wanna go get hit by a car now? Sorry to say, yours wasn't all that good either. The real answer to m4tty's childishness is to laugh at him. He's just trying to get attention now, clearly he has no interest in continuing this argument. Now he's just boosting his post count with spam like that and hoping to drop this rant into a flame war so it gets locked. He knows he's lost and this is his reply. All we have to do is ignore him, he'll get bored like most children and leave. And Roberthree don't let m4tty get to you like that, he's only doing it cause he know's that's the effect it has on you. He's really not worth getting wound up about so why bother?
  4. Sorry Roberthree but you've come dangerously close to fulfilling that yourself. I really burst out laughing when I read that. I don't see how. I'm just sick of seeing everyone addressed as "noob" by m4tty. Well, you called him a noob for calling others noobs, if you see. So you're kinda being reduced to his level - which no one should really aim for. I get what you mean though, m4tty's favourite arguement is slagging and not reason. A pity really, he's played a MMORPG all that time and still not learned how to get on with people.
  5. Sorry Roberthree but you've come dangerously close to fulfilling that yourself. I really burst out laughing when I read that. Oh and m4tty, why am I a noob, this time? Is it because I've low levels or is it really cause you feel threatened by people disagreeing with you? Don't like being criticised or challenged on your views? Or is it just because it makes you feel important?
  6. I really don't see how this relates to the topic at all. And for m4tty, you might want to pay attention to what you just said there - about people trying to make a name for themselves by calling people noobs. Does it remind you of anyone? Perhaps you should look at what you posted on this topic to refresh your memory. An awful lot of it is calling people noob, I'm afraid.
  7. Agreed. Ignore some of the snobbish higher lvl players(and m4tty, if you want go and say how cooking is my only stat in the highscores, go ahead). You have every right to go any place in Runescape, lvl 126 or lvl 3(if you can get to the area in the first place). funny how only low levels say that, and im saying they CAN but its noobish to because usually they just try and steal kills/get in the way to make people die etc... they might think they are "just helping" but people coming in when doing gws/dks etc can ruin the entire rythm of killing... im not gonna pretend to like someone or pretend not to be bothered ONLINE. What do you mean only low levels say there are immature people in RS? (I think that's what you're talking about at least.) I'm pretty confident that a large number of higher levels and older players feel the same way about them - isn't that usually the reason for all the RSC was better posts and such? People were nicer, etc. And this is actually the first time you've said lower levels can go were they want. Your other posts in this rant told us to stay out of GWD because it was a high level place and we lower levels had no place there. Besides this, were is the evidence that shows Roberthree trying to steal the kill? Those higher levels were killing Krill not the mini-boss and they weren't interested in killing those mini-bosses either. They just wanted to watch Krill kill Roberthree because its funny watching other people die, in their view. And from the looks of things those higher levels rhythm didn't get interrupted at all.
  8. Wow, you actually wasted your time looking me up on high scores just so you could brag about how much "better" than me you are. Funny thing is, I don't play the game for xp, I play for fun. Probably no excuse for having such a low total xp, but it doesn't bother me all that much. I don't like doing the same thing over and over again so my levels aren't all that good. I'll live. Now on to you - you quite clearly have a higher level than me and have most likely played longer than me. Well done on your levels but unfortunately you missed out 1 important thing along the way to getting them. Developing some decent people skills. The idea that just because someone is a lower level than you doesn't mean they can't attempt to do the same things you do. After all, mimicry is the most basic of learning skills. It's how babies learn to talk and walk - they mightn't be good at the start but we sure as hell don't flame the baby for trying. The comparative in Runescape would be a low level, I suppose. And, similarly to the baby, we try and do stuff before we really can, for the sheer hell of it. After all what's life without a little challenge. Have you ever considered the reason we reply with the same thing, time and time again, is because your counter-statements aren't valid or don't fully respond to the post? And have you ever heard of being the bigger person? Basically it means, just because some one is being a jerk to you, you don't have to be a jerk to them. Hopefully you read all of that, and maybe took something on board. We can but hope.
  9. But wouldn't flaming the flamers make you just as bad as they are? Just a thought. Yes, but trolls don't respond well to anything that isn't flames. See earlier in this thread for examples. Plus this guy just makes me -that- mad. wow, you are the expert on what "trolls" do. Having you post on a thread is enough to turn anyone into an expert. And just because you're replying with what you view as the other side of the argument doesn't give you the right to flame the guy. You COULD have posted it in a straight forward, pleasant manner instead of just insulting all the lower levels. I'd imagine you would have had a much more positive reception then. Instead you slagged all the lower levels who have posted which turned a legitimate rant into a flame war. Congratulations. Oh, and how come everyone who disagrees with you gets flamed for not knowing it all? It's kinda repetitive and not exactly effective for making your points seem intelligent and generally persuading people to agree with you. Just something to think about.
  10. That's missing the point. You shouldn't have to be lvl 100+ to get people to be decent. And m4tty, I don't see where you're getting this stealing kills and wasting time idea from. The screenshot shows no evidence of the high levels getting annoyed at Roberthree for wasting there time. All it shows is the high levels laughing at him for killing a general. And the "people whos time they are wasting are just objects to them" thing, were do you get the evidence for this? I don't think you're on the same rant as the rest of us. :?
  11. m4tty, I don't think you're making a very coherent counter-argument at all. When you first posted you told purfishx that he didn't know how annoying it was when someone crashed there world at Bandos. You then say that GWD is for high levels - which you are not. So I'm puzzled as to where you obtained this personal experience of what it's like? From what I've gathered you seem to think people can't rant about something they haven't experienced so why can you? Also you seem to think he was being called a noob for stealing the guys world. I didn't see any evidence of that in the screenshot of text. All I saw was some guys laughing at a lower level and thinking its funny to lure Krill to them. Dunno if that happened but that's the impression I got. As well as this, why is it a bad thing to try out something you know you don't have a 100% chance of succeeding? After all, if you can do everything what do you have left to strive for? And trying something at a lower than normal level just adds to the challenge, and if you succeed, to the feeling of success. And Roberthree, you said near the end of your rant that you're annoyed at being mocked for trying new stuff before the norm. I think I know what you mean, but you could take their mocking in another manner. The people mocking you could feel threatened by someone having the guts to do something at a low level, and they don't want to look bad by having you succeed so they attempt to put you off doing it, if you get me. So you could take they're mocking as a positive sign - you're thinking outside the box and people inside are afraid you'll succeed at doing it right. I dunno, maybe I'm babbling but hopefully I made some sense there.
  12. I'd imagine when the health bar green bit goes below a certain level it makes them eat it. And Roberthree what about the Maze random or something like that? I would have thought randoms of that type might help. And randoms aren't completely useless, I've gotten a few half key parts from the Strange Box one. Not to mention the runes and ore from the maze.
  13. What do they do exactly? I'd imagine they do the lower rounds to pick up Tokkul and then buy the weapons or onyx to sell. Makes sense cause the early rounds are pretty easy and go by fairly fast, from the few times I've tried. Dunno if it'd be profitable but if there are no randoms as sworddude pointed out so pleasantly, then it could be something they'd do. I agree about the random events at certain places though. They can do so much harm than help in certain places (DHing in smoke dungeon and evil chicken, anyone?) So yeah, they should stop them in some places. Oh, and Hunter, there's quite a few bots in the wild - green dragon autoers being the main one, I suppose.
  14. Pretty good guide, covered all the major points to the quest. Although maybe you could do a step by step walkthrough the maze? That would help a load of people cause that maze can be confusing. And I recommend bringing an anti or 2 when you go there cause its pretty easy to get poisoned. For the fight melee defence I'd recommend melee defence and some monks. Oh and if you bring the sliced hand to Zaristic Revere (guy who comes when you ring the Mage Guild bell - don't remember his name all that well) you get some dialogue about interring wizards, a lot of corny hand jokes but no reward.
  15. RSN: Madder Atkha My interests are skilling and I like F2P PKing the odd time. I suppose I come under slayer but I don't do much actual Slaying. HYT me or whatever, I don't mind how you say hello.
  16. D'haroking at 1 hp without protection prayer seems a bit to risky, but I supose it's possible. You can still protect, Jagex made a mistake -.- That must be a glitch because in the KB it states that you can't use the prayers in conjunction with each other. Anyways those are some sweet hits. Wish I could hit that high. -.-
  17. Just thought I should let you know that the link to the Shilo Village underground gem mine in the news post is broken and the map itself does not appear to be in the dungeon section of the site. It also does not appear in the site map. *Sorry, Wyvren had already posted this but I mistook the title of his post. My mistake.
  18. AoE is area of effect or something like that and yeah, chinchompas can hit up to 9 things at once. Nightshade the point is not about cash, but about efficiency cause I can make enough to pay for it.
  19. OK, I think I'll do the full quest anyway, just so I have it done. Thanks for your help everyone.
  20. Hmm, thanks both of you. Looks like I'll have to do Monkey Madness then -.-.
  21. Thanks, but do you have any ideas were to train with them? And how many I'll need for 70 ranged?
  22. I'm Level 55 Ranged trying to get it to level 70. I already have 1200 Grey Chinchompas and by the time I get 70 Hunter I'll have 1600 Reds as well. Would it be for me to sell these or use them to train Range? I'm looking for the best xp I could get at my level so what would be the best method.
  23. Oh. My mistake. Sorry. I've never had that happen to me before while I was runecrafting and it doesn't make much sense. Maybe its a bug or something.
  24. Yeah, your pouches decrease in effectiveness after a certain amount of ess is put in and out of them. I think its unlimited for small, 1k for medium, 750 for large and 500 for huge but I'm not sure. To get it repaired you go to the Dark Mage in the abyss but you don't need the pouches with you.
  25. OK thanks for replying. Looks like wilderness course is better. And Midnight the Level 2 gloves give 10% bonus to the xp you get per each amount of ticket. Don't think that's enough to effect the course considering you still have to get the same amount of tickets.
