A brown apron has no affect on mining what so ever, it's merely used to get into the crafting guild and to complete the look as a miner/crafter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for other skills, something like Cooking Guantlets for cooking helps you for experience, Smithing Guantlets help you when smithing gold, pouches with Runecraft, almost every skill has something that benefits/speeds up the experience.

I don't think so.

 

 

 

Brown apron is needed to get into the crafting guild and for a few quests.

The only mining trick that I know of is the old "restart on the rock" method.

 

 

 

Either walk away and then come right back and start again and/or,

 

 

 

go whack another rock and then return to the rock that you really want.

 

 

 

Sometimes, it seems to help.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other than that, use the best pic that you can and get your level up as high as you can.

Don't forget that wearing a glory amulet increases chances of gems whilst mining

there is another trick i learned that you should click the rock when the pick has almost reached the rock and you will get your ore faster

When you're woodcutting.. wearing a lucky rabbit's foot (made from hunting) increases your chances of getting a bird nest.

Well the lucky rabbit's foot most certainly DOES increase your chances of getting nests. Why would Jagex lie? Even if it increases the chance from one in 20 loads to 1 in 19.5 loads, it still raises the chance a little.

neither lederhosen or brown apron have effects on gathering speeds, these are ridiculous rumours, you would have to be a fool to believe them.
