Not possible to kill slayer monsters without the appropriate item (ex: Ice cooler ---> Desert Lizards).

If you're asking about the item's purpose, you can repair it and get low level plate armor.

I believe you can kill them with poison or rings of recoil, however you won't get any drops. But some cannot be killed if they require items for the finishing blow.

No, they don't appear on the high scores. I believe that holds true for perm-banned characters as well.

Spinning plates are bought from Diango (untradable). I'm sure you've mistaken it for something else :? .

Listen to me friend......you used to be able to break them, if you dropped them, but jagex took that effect out.

Before, you could break them if you spun them and they dropped. Now it's changed and you can't do that. As for being rarest, I think an item like toy sail boat would be rarer.

You can kill cockatrices and basilisks without a mirror shield, but I think you'd need a good amount of restore pots, they drain stats fast.
