Login Pin + Screenshot Logger Protection -New RSOF Thread-

Support.

Also, it would be awesome if you could put in your pin on login, and not have to re-input it when you switch worlds via lobby.

This. So much this. If I haven't logged out of the game, why should I have to put my PIN back in?

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

  • Old thread, but definitely worth a support.   Also, it would be awesome if you could put in your pin on login, and not have to re-input it when you switch worlds via lobby.   All in all, I think these

I just nostalgia'd all over my keyboard. I then proceeded to read over the entire thread. A tear was shed :,)   By the way, this is still a good idea.

I don't have a reason not to support this since it is considered optional. However I don't think there's much need since JAG was released, and players have the option to use a bank pin and should use it if they are concerned about the protection of their items. With great care taken in account security, players shouldn't get hacked - if they do however, JAG and a bank pin is MORE than enough to protect them. Key logging only occurs when a player has been naive, ignorant or too trusting. Social engineering is bad, yes, however if people are made aware of it and protect themselves accordingly this wouldn't happen. /rant

To summarise, I don't disagree per se, I just don't think there's much need for it.
