May 24, 200917 yr I support this idea as well. Maybe, to improve it for world hoppers, make it so that when the countdown timer is going for world hops, you can enter your pin to get in. It would work the same as the password in that it wouldn't check until after the login timer has gotten to zero, then it would tell you that you are wrong if you are. @sirlonewolf:You are forgetting this. Yes, a hacker can do 1 billion guesses per second, or whatever the number was. But any fairly secure system will not let you do 1 billion guesses per second. Take, for example, a password comprised of five completely random characters, like y1#)o. They may be able to guess every possible combination of those five characters, and get your password, in under twenty minutes, but they won't know which one is correct until they insert every single one of those combinations. And that's just not feasible, because even runescape's login system makes you wait 5 minutes every 10 guesses. And despite the pin being made only of 10 characters instead of 100, it still takes 5 seconds, being very generous on speed, to type in one combination by a person, let alone a bot which would be slower. Credit isn't necessary, but it would be nice. Achieving the Login Pin and Screenshot Logger Protection is reward enough for me. Maybe it's already part of their "update Runescape" plan. : Have you posted this on RSOF yet? Seems your Total EXP is high enough for you to access the Forums. March 20, 201214 yr Support... but i won't use it. If you don't download much and run antivirus scanners often there will be a small chance that you'll end up with a keylogger. For that reason i would never download RS related app's from sites other than runescape.com
