    Effigies

But the people assisting me will get the exp I would've normally gotten? So I'll be giving away 15-30K exp and getting nothing in return? Seems odd... Thanks for the help anyway (:

    Effigies

Hi there, I have a few effigies sitting in my bank at the moment, I know what they do but still I don't know what to do with them. I've read guides and item descriptions here but they never clearly state what to do with them if they're useless for you. I've been playing Runescape for about 6 years and my highest non-combat level is 80. I don't think this'll get any higher within the next few months/years, so I doubt I'll ever use any effigies myself. So what is the best way for me to use them? 'Sell' the exp when I let someone else assist? Where do I find someone who'll pay me? Any other ways? Thanks in advance :)
  3. Apparently, I put 2 pages in my unholy book years ago when they were still like 150K. As I was thinking about getting one, it's a nice unexpected 10M bonus!
  4. Anyway, what is up with the way they're displaying names in the Friend chat? I used to be able to see both the names and the worlds that people were in, it looks quite rubbish now. Or am I the only one?
  5. ^Support this. I too wanted to suggest a more natural colour for the members' items. The item groups is a good idea, I would suggest making those a different colour too, or making it clear in some other way that this concerns an item group rather than an individual item. Also, charms can be made into an item group too.
  6. This is what happens when you succesfully manage to troll a firemaking bot :P Free exp pl0x!
  7. @The Big Tease Jagex is a company, of course they will try to get people to pay for their game. You should realize that above anything, making money is their #1 goal. @Skilling Heights The latest 2 skills released already have content that goes all the way up to 99 (or near 99), so obviously Jagex realises that they need to put high-level content in a skill to make people happy. The problem with high-level content is that probably 99.9% of RuneScape population can't profit from this. So they will be spending a lot of time for a really small portion of players.
  8. In the latest RuneScape poll, the following question is asked the players: What are your main reasons for playing RuneScape? Did anyone else notice the option 'for fun' wasn't there?
  9. Armoured zombies? They're pretty much the answer to everything
  10. Try Varrock or Zamorak family crest helms..
  11. I believe the teleport with rings of slaying to the slayer cave is the fastest teleport next to a fairy ring. In second comes Edgeville teleport and then the fairy ring you already mentioned. I believe that it is closer with Edge tele than with Varrock tele.
  12. I would love to see what's inside the Elf city :D And I think it would open up a lot of possibilities, so I'd pick the Elf quests to be finished
  13. Okay let's see: Cheapest way for herblore: I believe this is Sanfew serum 207. I suggest to get 63 and then use greenman's ale. But you might aswell be patient and grow your herbs with farming. You don't actually get lamps ;) I wouldn't put them all on summoning though. There are many other hard to train skills that you can use the experience on. I would however not use the experience on smithing because you'll have it really high already, and smithing is rarely used in 'daily life'. I put three on summoning and one on runecrafting. I did 65-70 smithing with a mix of cannonballs (slow exp but wee bit of cash) and gold (with goldsmithing gauntlets, expensive but fast). 60-63 Thieving: I don't know what I did here. Blackjacking is good experience though. viewtopic.php?f=103&t=642034 I'm not sure what you meant with this question: 'I need to plan when I do WGS out, so about how long will it take barring any major complications? 4 hours or more?' Do you mean how long WGS will take? I'm not sure, I think it took me about 2.5 hours.. I didn't really notice the time because it was such an awesome quest :)
  14. Thieving is quick and makes money
