In Desert Treasure, when you are fighting Damis there IS a safe spot

I just found it

Hello, great picture that is there

I'm not entirely sure but I'm sure Jagex removed some/all of the safe spots in the quest area where you have to fight Damis. There also has been another mention of a safe spot at Damis I believe which can be found by following the link provided below. I'm not entirely sure if this is the same safe spot as the one you have a picture for.

no this is not the same spot, i tried this and the dog was a pain causing me not to be able to attack damis, but yes can be done.

i found it much easier to lure them over to the corner i talked about in the other post, saves some running around with out taking hits while situating yourself.

but yes this spot would work as well

I decided to complete this quest tonight and tried this safe spot and it looks like I overprepared. I only needed enough food to be able to get all the beasts lined up behind that spot, which wasn't that much (I simply ran around "gathering" a following and then ran behind that spot and sure enough, I could mage Damis and kill both his forms without taking a single hit after getting to that safe spot).

In my opinion, it's worth including in the guide, because anyone can use this with minimal preparation.

For anyone that wants to know:

This still works to the day I'm posting this.

And something kinda funny..

I should have brought 100 casts, but i only brought 50. when i had 10 casts left, i said to myself 'Crap, I'm going to have to finish him off with my dds...'.

...but i managed to kill him on my last death rune! Talk about luck ::'

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
