Does anyone know a lot about rune ores to tokkul? Im stuck

Ok, umm... anyone know the secret to it?

whenever i ask my friends they tell me that they cant tell me because its the trader's secret or something like that.

All i know is that you sell rune ores there for tokkul (tzarr cave i think), wear karamja gloves so you will make more.

Can anyone help a brotha out? =D

There's a store in the Tzhaar caves that buys your ores for Tokkul. So take some runite ore down there, along with Karamja gloves 1 for better shop prices. It's not really a secret, makes perfect sense, actually.

there is more to it, i know cause you can not make 500k + an hour that way if its only simple like that. Shop takes it for around 1200 tokkul, and i believe it is 260,000 tokkul with gloves on for an onyx. The more ores you sell at the shop the less tokkul they give for it, unless 3-4 people i know are bsing me on that they make atleast 500k + an hour this way, or that there is more to it and is a trader's secret.

To get the best bang for your buck, you need to sell to an empty store, so you can't just go and sell 250 rune ore and have enough for an onyx. This means you can either hop worlds and sell 5 or so, and repeat 50 times or so. You can still average 1k tokkul per ore sold if you sell 5 or 6 rune ore to an empty store. You could easily unload that much rune ore in an hour if you don't mind spending an hour hopping worlds.

What I like to do is bring the rune ore with me, and train on the TzHaar monsters near the store. I sell an ore, kill a couple monsters, then sell another ore when the first one disappears, etc. Takes a while that way, but you can always use any obby drops you get to speed things up a bit.

there was another thread a few days ago here that was REALLY good explaining this but i am trying to find it and i can't find it. if you can find it post it here because it explained it very well. personally, i am trying to find out how to do it too

There is no need for a guide for this, it is pretty self-evident.

If you sell one at a time, to an empty store, with Karamja Gloves, you need 232 Runite ore to get enough for an onyx.

If you sell 5 at a time, to an empty store, with Karamja Gloves, you need 263 (I think) Runite ore to get enough for an onyx.

I find 5 at a time and hopping works best for me, but the secret is try it out and see what works for you
