smilinmike Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 I just got a guthix prayer book from horror in the deep quest...now im looking to buy all the pages...are these worth it? also how can it increase my range when i cant use my bow while holding the book? Does it just have to be in my inventory to increase my range? Loge_05 Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 Books are not worth it in my opinion. They are just another way to show off. The bonus given to you by the books vary. The only way it could give you a Range bonus would be if you were throwing darts or something similair, and had a book equipped in the shield space. Books are untradeable, and once you put a page in your book, you will not beable to take it back out. Once you have completed your first book, you may return to the person who originally gave you the book and he will give you a different one at a price. Offline and unavailable. Umega Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 The prayer books are the only shields that give +5 prayer bonus, so if plan on using the 'protect from' prayers then by all means buy them.
