[hide=]Firstly, for those who don't know me, I've been playing RS since January '03 and am currently 132 combat with a skill total of 2068.

I'm mostly an 'all rounder' when it comes to playing rs, enjoying combat, skills, minigames, quests and used to be quite a big

pker (I won't go into what I think about what pking is now here :P). I've also worked for Tip.It as both on both the Crew and

Moderator teams.

Until one month ago I had not played Runescape since around August '07, due to finding the game more of a grind fun. I'd also

decided that i'd like to give another MMO a try, so headed over to LotRO, which I have been playing since September '07. After

the game's latest expansion, I felt like i'd finished all the new content within a couple of months of it's release, and felt like there

wasn't really much left for me to do there, and Tripsis (who had also been playing LotRO with me) wanted to go back to playing

Runescape. So, because I was getting over the game, I decided i'd come back too to see whether or not I could go back to enjoying

the game, which I definately am, more than I have in quite a while.

So, onto what i've been doing for the past month. Slayer has been a skill that i've wanted to get to 99 almost since it's release, and

i'd already achieved 85 while whips were still in the area of 10m each. I've had the last month off school and work, so have been able

to train very efficiently, gaining almost 100k Slayer experience per day on average. When I came back I was at around 6m Slayer

experience, i'm now at 8.2m slayer experience, 29 days later. I've also gained level 97 (which I was only 70k off when I returned) and

98 ranged, purely from ranging the odd task, and using my cannon, along with 6m Strength experience. I didn't want to revive my blog

when I first came back incase I just couldn't get into the game again, but now that I have, and am well on my way to 99 Slayer, i've

decided to once again record my progress, and share it with you. :)[/hide]

~ Goals and Plan ~

[hide=]For the next week (starting Febuary 3rd) I will still have no work or school to attend, so I will be trying quite hard to get as much

experience as I possibly can before "real life" starts to take over :P I will be aiming for a little over 100k xp per day, so I can reach 95

Slayer. Once i've returned to school I will be aiming for around 50k Slayer experience per day on week day, and up to 100k per day

on weekends, which I think will be a good, steady amount to get to 99.

I will also be wanting to finish off 99 range over the time that i'm slaying, though I doubt i'll put too much effort into it, as 97-98

came pretty effortlessly just from ranging certain tasks and cannoning.

I've also always loved strength training, and will be using a Dragon scimitar for nearly all tasks that I melee (unless I can somehow

find 47m for a SGS :lol: ) and will aim for the highest strength rank I can get, though I don't expect to ever reach my previously

highest strength rank of 71 :P[/hide]

[hide=]With the release of the 150th quest getting closer, i've decided that i'd like to be ready for it's release by having all quests

completed before then. So i've decided to give myself a quick break from Slayer to finish off the quests I haven't done. I

had the quest cape once before, but with the amount of time I was away I dropped quite a way behind, obviously. :P I

have 19 quests to complete and will be doing them in order of easiest-hardest, as Jagex has listed them in my quest log :P

The 400k xp from WGS will also be pretty helpful :lol:

You should try using Pyramid Plunder, it's extremely fast, and much less tedious. :)

Yeah it has made it much easier, although I always liked thieving in classic too anyway :P I wasn't quite as high as 90 though :shock:

The rewards available in Pyramid Plunder are similar to those like drops from monsters, in the sense that some people get lucky and others do not. You can get Pharoah's Sceptres which sell for about 1m each. In addition, you also get artifacts from thieving from the urns/chests in the pyramid. Each of the gold artifacts are worth about 800 gp - 1.5k each.

Hehe, it's just an addition to the location :)

Under location I just have "Australia Runescape World: 31 Gender: ÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢Ã¢ââ¬Ã¡", and it skips down a line to put each one in ;) Just change them to suit you :)
