I. Who am I(edited on 27.8.2007)

Hello, I am gago(please do not write that with capital letter - Gago, I am just gago) and my nick on RuneScape is Gandalf Sivi. I have been playing this game for about 5 years now. I missed Party hats and Easter eggs, but I was there when they dropped Halloween masks and Santa's hats(got quite a few of them, but sold them for 30k each), I am a proud owner of Scythe, but unfortunately I could't go on computer when they dropped Bunny ears - I still regret that.

If You check my stats you won't see many extremely high levels and you might ask yourselves: "What the heck has he been doing for past 4 years and a half!?" My answer is: I simply enjoy this game any my goal is not to be the best, I play for fun and I do not care if my stats are low for the time I have been playing. I do not like PeeKaying, but I DM sometimes(when I am F2P).

I am an 18 years old guy from Slovenia(middle Europe -> East of Italy, ex-Yugoslavia, for those who do not know it), I come from and average family - my father is trainer of the local youth ski-jumping team and mother is and accountant. I go to Grammar school and my last year there starts in one week.(I'm not very good at school, mostly because I'm lazy..). My brother goes to the 1st year of the same Grammar school =D

My hobbies are playing RuneScape(obviously), playing Basketball(when it is a little bit warmer outside), hanging out with my friends(in Pub or outside on the field or elsewhere where we can sit down and relax) and the most important of them all: being with my girlfriend .

I am a smoker and although I've tried to quit a few times I still smoke about a box(20 Cigarettes) per day..

I have been a member of Tip.It forums for quite some time, I just have not posted much, just where I felt I have to say something.

IV. My goals

My long term goal used to be 99 Defence which I already achieved(on 11.05.2007).

Now I have moved on to training Attack and Strength(slowly towards 99) along with Slayer which makes everything more interesting.

Another goal of mine is to get 94 Magic(or higher :P) which I mostly train at Metal dragons but unfortunately they give no good drops for me.

Attack 90/99

Slayer 84/85

Magic 93/94

Firemaking 90/99 <- I will try to achieve this after 85 Slayer. Gradually.

Other skills will be raised and blogged too, I just do not have any goals set for them.

I decided to sell some junk I had lying in my bank and so I hopped to World 2 and started selling. In about 30 minutes i had 2.5M. What to do with this cash? Runes, of course! Started looking around for Chaos or Death rune sellers. There was noone selling Chaos for less than 150 each(not even on forums), so I just bought 13k Chaos runes and 50k Fire runes, spending 2.5m alltogether. I took that all to the bank and I noticed I only have 1k Death runes, so i withdrew some more money and went out. In 15 minutes I had fresh 2k Death runes and 10k Mind runes.

Switched worlds and off to Ardougne. Well first to my house to repair my Ahrims. I dressed up and went in Karamja caves(fortunately I had 12 Steel dragons to kill for Slayer). I quickly maged those Steels and moved to Irons. I killed three and BAM! I had to go to bed.

My mother had to work late so I had plenty of time for maging. I used around 4.2k Chaos, when I had to teleport due to running out of Antifire potions. Checked my Magic exp; only 1.2k exp till 91 Magic! I quickly killed some guards(I was in Falador) and got the level =) Forgot to take picture...

Went to bed.

When I came from school today I was home alone as my brother was out with his friends , mother was working late again and father went to Poland, where they have some ski-jumping competition. So I decided it is time for some Dagganoth Kings again.

I asked my friend to lure Supreme an Prime and he gladly said yes. He took his melee/ranger gear and we were off. It went fine until we got in. I ran in and lured Rex, he came down after me and started meleeing the ranger, he was not hitting very well, so he asked me to help him, but we still couldn't make it -.- That happened again but on trip #3 we did good. Well, because he just lured Supreme and Prime so I could mage Rex in peace.

I took 2000 Slayer darts with me and when I was on around 1100, RuneScape freezed. I was cool as a cucumber. I said to myself: That has happened before, it will start working after a few seconds. But it did not. Connection Lost it said. It logged me out after a minute. That was when I started to panic. Tried to log back in, but I could not. I checked my modem - all the lights were pulsing. Bad sign. I disconnected all the wires, including internet and waited for a few minutes, then I connected them again and ran the computer.

I opened RuneScape shaking. Logged in. I was in Falador. With all the items on me and 3HP left. Thank you Ring of Life!

I checked my inventory and smiled. This trip has left me a nice souvenir:

When I'll have another opportunity I will go back to the caves of Waterbirth island, seeking more red axes, because this one gave me money for supplies for more trips =)

In the evening I did a Slayer task or two(cannot remember which two) and went back to Zanaris to get a new task. Kurasks... Quickly went to change the task, killed some Ghosts(thank you Axe Man Jack for your guide. I used to kill them in Varrock sewers) and then back to Zanaris. Now I got Black Demons and I decided not to change the task even if I did not have any Cannonballs. Prepared myself, withdrew some Prayer potions, Super set(with Super Defence too. Silly me), but the clock showed 22.00 or 10.00 p.m. and I had to go off.

Did some Slayer tasks, my last task was Turoths where I got a clue, which I decided to do on Sunday. Went to get another task: Hellhounds =D I like them pretty much, they are good exp(I melee them) and they drop Clues!

Did a clue from yesterday, currently killing Hellhounds :)

390k exp till 98 Defence! ^^

I'm just done with Hellhound task, got two clues, both were junk unfortunately. Next task is 10 Steel dragons =) That will be lovely Magic exp, going to spend around 4-5k Chaos runes there =D

I almost died in that Brimhaven dungeon. I was reading some other blogs here and when I clicked back on RS screen I had 13HP left and a Steel dragon was owning me :o I quickly ran away and before I ate a Shark it hit me with fire for another 5 So I was there with 28HP and no food, but I survived. Thank to lord Defektius for that ;D Went to watch "Grey's Anatomy"

Great news! We have "The day of school" on Friday so guess what that means - EXTENDED WEEKEND! Party time!

Still maging Metal dragons, no luck yet. Got a clue tho, which I will solve after I am done.

Those dragons did not drop me any pretty red wearing =( The clue was junky and next task was Kurasks. Switched them - Scorpions. Now I have 124 Shadow warriors. But first I shall go buy myself a Fury amulet. Maybe some nice rings too ^^

Bought Fury amulet, Berserker ring and Infinity boots and did Shadow warrior task. Later I kept getting Kurasks for the task. Came down to Zanaris, talked to Chaeldar and she said "Your task is to kill 149 Kurask." I said to myself: OK, I will just change that. Quick teleport to Burthrope, Turael said I have to kill some Banshees. I grabbed my Earmuffs and went to Slayer tower. The task was done quickly. When I was back to Chaeldar she said "Your task is to kill 132 Kurask." Ok, this was a bit annoying. Went to change again, got some scorpions. When I was back to Lost city I almost started hitting the computer. "Your task is to kill 112 Kurask." Off to Burthrope again... Scorpions 0.0 The next task was 42 Iron dragons. I really want to get 98 Defence this week buta t least it is not Kurasks. Logged out tried not to be angry at Chaeldar =P

I did the new quest and I liked it pretty much. The new weapon Barrellchest Anchor is really cool looking and I like how my character runs while weilding it. I decided to do that Iron dragon task, got everything ready and climbed down to Brimhaven dungeon.

Got nothing good so far.

I have had some nice tasks today; 150 Fire giants and currently 150 Elves(already got a Clue scroll which I am going to solve tomorrow ). I met a really nice guy at Fire giants who gave me two Loop halves for FREE!

Going to kill a few more of those Elves - I am killing them in Lletya - then I am going off.

Currently I am 63k exp from Defence level and if I wake up early tomorrow I might even make it. It is going to be close due to that clue I have to solve I have a free-of-school day tomorrow, but I will not be able to get on RuneScape, because I am going to visit my girlfriend

I am also 22k exp from 95 Hitpoints level and 25k from 83 Slayer level, so all three are going to be pretty close to each other.

Going to put goal/stat sigs back on on Saturday or Sunday, thanks to Soulegleon for the information about them =)

Finished my Elf task but the next one was Jungle horrors which I decided not to change, although I knew I cannot get all three levels today from that task. At least I got 95 Hitpoints and 114 Combat with it =) =) Then I had to go shave and I barely caught the Bus =D

After I was done with the task I went hunting for Wild pie ingredients. I collected material for 27 Wild pies and my friend with 99 Cooking made them for me.

Used 22 of my Wild pies but unfortunately I got nothing interesting, just met some ignorant and unfriendly people over there at Abyssal demons and the most of them were much better than me in combat stats(except Defence of course) and much worse than me in non-combat stats... People are no-lifing at Abyssal demons to get 1 Whip every 1k demons.

Went for my next task - Cave horrors. I really like killing them, but this time I brought my melee armour instead of Black d'hide, so I decided to go barrowing after Super set effect wears off. One good thing: I got a clue, which I am doing right now <- JUNK!

I was not very active over this week, so there was nothing to write. I was at Barrows for 25 trips, got two items(Ahrims staff and Dharoks platebody - page 2), I tried to get full Lumberjack at Burgh de Rott ramble/Temple trekking, but I only got boots.

Then I went back to Slaying - Turoths. Got a clue, junk tho.

I could not stop smoking. I started buying my own cigarettes again. I have no true motivation for it =(

Currently slaying, still on that Turoth task. No good drops yet, just a few Herbs and Herb seeds.

On that Turoth task I got a White/Gold Mystic bottom, which I sold for 65k

And when I was killing Gargoyles, a Nechryael came into the room with Gargoyles, I killed it and got... Rune boots! Later on, another one came in, I did not leave it to live for long. It dropped Steel axe! Shortly after that, I saw another Nechryael. Bam, dead. And another Rune boots ^^ Sold them 170k each.

Also got a clue from a Gargoyle.

Nothing very interesting happened today, I was training Slayer but got nothing good. The last task was Dust devils. Decided to try meleeing them and I did pretty well although I do not have Bones to peaches.

I have decided to update my blog after 5 months :) Many interesting things happened in that period. Absolutely too many to tell everything. The most important RuneScape moment was me getting 99 Defence. I have proceeded to train with my slow tempo and so I didn't get many levels. Currently I am 115 Combat and 1830 Skill total.

I could have higher levels, but I wasn't member for 2 months(June, July) - my mother cancelled membership. When I was f2p I did not play much, I was mostly DMing or training my "pure". Now I convinced my mother to pay me membership for August :) When that month expires I will be f2p for almost 1 month because I need to wait to get wage for 2 weeks and then 2 weeks for the mail to send money for membership for 1 whole year to USA.

I am currently training Slayer big time and I am around 145k away from 85 =) On a Hellhound task at the moment.

More stuff comming later =D

Thank You very much. I actually smoked 3 cigarettes today. I just cannot resist when my girlfriend offers me one :S I will try not to smoke during the week and then it will be easier to deciline her offer :D

Thanks :) It could be better but I will not complain :) I prefer not being too rich. If I had lots of money I would not know what to buy and I would be unhappy :P

Wish Your friend luck and say congrats to him in my name when he gets 85. He will most likely get the level much before me, because I do not constantly slay.

I had some bad luck with Slayer tasks(read on post #1), currently I am maging Iron dragons. Still no Dragon drops :( I really need to get something soon, because I am running out of runes #-o

I got nothing from Metal dragons :( And I only have runes for one more trip down there #-o I have to get something soon, so I can rebuy some of the runes. Oh, I got a clue from an Iron dragon:

I have a Mogre task now, decided not to skip it so I would not get Kurasks again :D They are kind of boring to kill and they do not give very good exp. Ah well.

Death_Dude74; Thanks and yes, I have considered using Wild pies which I think I will after getting 83 Slayer. I need to get ingredients first tho. And someone who can cook them for me - I am one level short and I do not feel like fishing/cooking right now ^^

Gago, you can have dynamic sigs. I just recently sent Jagex a message and Mod Mosley siad you can have them. Although they would prefer you having ones where you request it to get your stats instead of automatically. So go ahead and post you sigs back : . (well if u want )

For that transparency thing - if I made the background one color, It would not match the other one :D It would be nice that it would always be the same color as the post color is :)

I got three really nice levels yesterday and today

I am really excited about getting 99 Defence relatively soon :) :) :) At last, after four and a half years I am going to get my first 99 skill. I have never thought this would be Defence :XD:

After this Troll task I am going to gather some Wild pie ingrediends and find someone with 85+ Cooking :-w Abyssal demons time :P

I went to kill to Abyssal demons, used 22 Wild pies there but I got nothing good. I think I got around 100k Defence exp or even more.

Currently I am on a Cave horror task an I have just got a clue. After I am done with the Treasure trail I am taking a short break from Slayer -> going to Barrows for a few trips.

I will post my set-up later.

I have just finished the clue that will change my life for ever! The total worth of it is almost 12k!!!

And my barrows set-up:

Tactics for barrows:

- Go to Barrows

- Kill Dharok(Prayer)

- Kill Karil(Prayer)

- Kill Ahrim(prayer if there is any left)

- Kill Torag(prayer if there is any left)

- Kill Verac

- Kill Guthan

- Go to tunnels, go to the room with the chest, kill the remaining brother; if Guthan is in tunnels, I try to get him on the safespot.

- Get around 15-25 kill count

- Open the chest and hope for the best

- Teleport to house, refill Prayer, use Canifis portal.

Just got DHAROK PLATEBODY! on trip #13!

I did 25 Barrows trips alltogether, then I went doing Burgh de Rott ramble/Temple trekking to get Lumberjack clothes, but I only got Boots... At least I got a few nice rewards, like 500+ pure essence or 120 Coal, 80 Iron ore or so.

Then I went back to Slayer. Got Turoths for a task, went there right away and after 10 I got a clue :) Went to solve it a bit later, but it was junk again :\

Ah well, at least I got Zamorak page.

I did not play RuneScape much this week, due to school :S I will have some more time to play over the weekend, so expect some Clues and maybe levels ^^

12 Bronze dragons for a task, went to kill them and got 74 Prayer to my surprise.

I also tried using Guthans there. It went pretty good after the dogs became unagressive. Got nothing significant :(

The next task is !160! Banshees :S

I have not been on for a while now(since Tuesday) - internet did not work for a while and now I have restriction from computer... A good thing is that my parents went out tonight so I can be on for a few hours.
