this guide is only for expiernced people who have done barrows before and know about the safespots in the tunel and about the sidesteping in the mounds u can read about it in the tip.it barows guide.

1.0 Introduction

hello this is my first guide on tip.it you guys probably think that im crazy but if you read this guide you will understand that you are wrong.in this guide you will see one of the cheapest ways to barrows and for me it is the cheapest after the veracs method but my melle stats are not good enought to use veracs and i dont hav 55 slayer to use the slayer dart so i decided to try ranging the barrows :thumbsup:

NOTE:this way is cheaper when salyer dart

2.0 Basic information

2.1 Required stats

without these stats it is impossible:

-75range

-70defense

-50prayer

-70hp

-70 str

-70atack

2.2 Required equipment

Wearable equipment, from best to worst:

HEAD: veracs helm > torags helm > helm of neitiznot

AMULET: Fury > Glory Amulet > Power Amulet

BODY: black dhide body > kharils top

LEGS: black dhide chaps > kharils bottom

CAPE: avas acamulator>fire cape>99 cape>obby cape

ARROW: diamond bolts (e) > rune bolts(diamond bolts are cheaper and more efective here)

BOOTS: Rune boots > Addy boots > ranger boots

GLOVE: barrows gloves>black dhide vamps>rfd gloves

WEAPON: only rune c bow

SHEILD: dragon sq >rune kite > obby shield

RING:ring of life>archers ring

invetory:

whip>dragon scimi>dragon long

SPADE

Veracs skirt>torags legs

dds>d long

range pot (if u dont have 85+ range use it)

super restore>prayer pot(incase karil is tunel)

ectophial>any other 1 click tele

rune defender>ady defender

monks>lobs>sharks

3.0 Attack Plan

1. Dharok

he is in the north east tomg put run on and put ur atack style on rapid and drink a dose of ur range pot dig put ur protect mellee on and disturb his rest range him to death if u see something that looks like a crystal apears above his head it means that the scpec efect of the bolts is working and u will hit high you will hit high even without the special efect but less often when he is dead put ur prayer of and climb the stairs if he is tunel go to kharil.

2. Karil

now you have to choose if you have 75+ atack and str put ur veracs skirt rune defender and dds on and dig put ur range prayer on dds spec him and finish him off with the whip if u run out of prayer dont drink a prayer pot just eat and watch ur health if he is tunel log out swear a lot irl then log in and skip to ahrim if u dont have 75+ str and atack range him like dharok but with ur veracs skirt on.

3. ahrim

put ur black dhide chaps and rune c bow on go to the centre tomb and dig ahrim will not hit u very often and you should rip throught his no defence against range kill him eat when needed whtch out he can hit 20s if he is tunel go to verac

4. Verac

put ur veracs skirt on and range him to death this will be a tought fite coz both of you have the same special efect verac can hit through ur armor and u can ignore his range defence with the diamond bolts if he is tunel go to torag

5. Torag

this will be boring as torag almost never hits you and he has very good range defence so u have to pray that ur spec efect will work often but even if it doesnt u will easily kill him if he is tunel go to guthan

6. Guthan

same as torag cept guthan hasnt so good def as torag range him to death if he is tunel enter the tunel

3.1 Tunnels

now there are 3 options:

1.if ur tunel brother is a melee brother go to one of the corners room this is the guide to the safespots keep opening the doors untill the brother spawns when he does range him to ddeath ur avas acamulator will not work with a safespot so dont forget to pick the bolts when u kiled the last brother get ur kilcount to 12-15 thats what i get and go for the chest

2.if ur tunel brother is ahrim try to find the room leading to the chest if ahrim has spwned put ur black dhide chaps on and raange him if he didnt spawn get ur kc to 12-15 then go to the chest open it then he will spawn put ur black dhide chaps on and range him

3.if ur tunel brother is kharil do the same thing as u would do with ahrim cept u have to drink 2 doses of prayer pot put ur range protect pray on and either melle him or range him

then get ur kc to 10-15 and open the chest

4. Conclusion

this is it u just ranged the barows on average trip i lose around 15 of my bolts and ddrink 1 dose of range pot which together is 13k i asked my friend who is using the slayer dart method he told me tha he uses 60 slayer darts per trip which is around 18k and he ius meling kharil like me so my way is 5k cheapper then the slayer dart and here is my invetory after one of my trips

Interesting idea, but the grammar is very poor. Separate your paragraphs with sentences to make it easier to read.

I'm thinking. How about first killing karil with prayer and then start searching for the tunnel entrance. Kill all other brothers there. It shouldn't be too hard to safespot the brothers in the tunnels and you're wearing the best equipment for ahrim anyway.

The advantage is that you could possibly use much cheaper bolts.

great idea i just tried it myself i used my prayer on kharil and ahrim and safespoted other brothers used total of 7lobs 8-) but using this way it will take much longer coz the barrows spawn randomly in the tunels after u open the door but it could work

A house teletab is much better than an ectophial, and monkfish are also better because they heal more and aren't too expensive. Also, my god, sort out your grammar! It makes the guide easier to read and people will give you higher ratings.

Great guide by the way, a very original way to Barrows and it looks effective.

Technically its "cheaper" because you can reuse ammo. But since you usually get alot more from the chest then what you used in barrow its really free experience and runes. Unless barrow chest gives diamond bolts (e).

As everyone said, work on grammar. Also putting pictures of high hits to make it look really powerful.

thx for posting as about the gramar i know it is bad but i live in israel and im only 14years old so i the only english i know is from school and the only time i speak english is while playing rs so sry about that ill add more pics but it will take some time because im litle busy right now so not a lot of time for rs

cheaper, true, but you use WAY more food. I really dont belive that you only lose what was it, 13 bolts? i hav tried ranging this, and lost over 200 total, at 74 range. Most hits were 0. Its not a very good way, but if you must its a possiblility

u had avas acamulator?

The bit that you mentioned about slayer dart being more expensive is wrong. Most of the time, you get your runes back from the chest, I did a day of barrows with 300 death runes, and finished with 1.2k, whereas you lost bolts, making this method more expensive than slayer dart. Also, your grammar in some areas of your guide is just awful, try to fix that.

spat you forget that if rangin the barrows the runes are profit

But you dont lose money, and you usually get more than you went in with making profit.

but the profit is greater if u dont use runes
