The bestiary states a drop of 607-666 noted coal.

I just received a 680 noted coal drop.

Most monsters have it and also share it.

It isn't as simple as this, as there are three kinds of rare drop tables (search the topic in website discussion if you want to know more).

Also it doesn't matter that it is in the rare drop table, as the crew collects all drops and there is to less known about the rare drop table to make an item group about it yet.
