  1. Broad arrows. Roughly 10 gp/xp. Nothing else really comes close.
  2. It was Kingduffy with around 2700 I think.
  3. Ice are an ok task, I personally don't do them because they take forever. Their hours/effigy is suprisingly low because they have so much lp. Greaters are good if you do them in the wilderness, but imo switching gear/banking stuff isn't worth the hassle. I don't do them. for a theoretical "best" list, then yes they're good. Gargoyles are terrible effigies, charms and slayer xp no matter where you do them. Jad isn't worth it as you don't get charms or effigies. Wasn't aware dust devils were considered a good task, I thought their hours/effigy was about 3.5, with mediocre slayer xp and their only redeeming feature being good charms. I'd like to know why they're on the list.
  4. I think the disagreements are arising because you're talking about plate as a third bind, whereas all our plates are actually fourth binds. We tend to have the DPS setup that xpx mentioned, with at least 1 hex and 1 CSB. If everyone bound an extra piece of DPS equipment, sure the dungeons may well be around a minute faster, but the pace would certainly be a lot harder to sustain for any length of time. On a side note, I understand completely that you don't want people becoming lazy, and why you insist on a DPS as a third bind for members of your clan.
  5. @Obtaurian: I'm aware of this, I'm simply explaining why I bound a plate. As I stated, I had DPS binds for a large chunk of xp, and while I found it effective I didn't like the amount of concentration it required. I'm not disagreeing with your stance on DPS. I would say, however, that to me binds have a minimal impact on how good a dungeoneer you are. Yes, we all have plates bound but we achieve good and consistent times, as I stated previously. Moreover, we can post these times for most of the day, and while I can't speak for anybody else I don't really fancy concentrating fully for that amount of time as I would have to with DPS binds.
  6. I had boots & gauntlets bound for about 30m xp, but I find it to be a lot more effort for a slight gain. I can get along fine without a plate, and I do think DPS binds are technically better, but a plate bind means I don't have to concentrate 100% on every GD, or pray on every zombie. Similarly, though it may just be my computer, it's a lot easier with a plate bind to double-click a door then the minimap and be halfway across the next room before having to take stock of what's hitting you. Sure, if you're just doing a few dungeons in a row it's not much of a problem, but if you're going to do it for a significant period of time then binding a plate just lets you dungeoneer on autopilot for a little. I don't think any of the people I dungeoneer with regularly need a plate bound in order to avoid death, it's a convenience thing. In either case, from a pool of around 8 players over the last week I don't think we've had a floor over 24 minutes, with the vast majority being around the 18 mark. On the subject of dukky's posted video, we actually did Gulega with group vengeance the floor before as well, but Foot didn't record it. Went in, group venged it and continued with the dungeon. Boss died faster than the traditional method, but we did it mostly for a bit of fun. I don't think Foot was seriously endorsing it as a good method of doing Gulega.
  7. 1. TDs may be an option if you have access to them. Nothing skill-wise comes close to the profits that monster-hunting can bring. 2. Not going to number-crunch because it's been years since I did prayer, I have no idea what the bones/h is. Personally, I would use frost dragon bones. 3. Herbicide and bonecrusher are nice for slayer, but by no means necessary. 4. Can't help you here, sorry. 5. Fire cape- prayer pots are dirt cheap right now.
  8. Ring of wealth does not affect charm drops.
  9. While kalphites don't offer much in the way of drops or charms, they're quite fast xp in the "do no evil" area, around the 60k/h mark with maxed combat and turmoil. While I have no direct experience with ranging them, or range slayer in general, I don't think it would lower your xp/h drastically, as the cannon does the majority of the work. I'd liken them to a hellhound task, with slightly better charms and drops.
  10. The desert phoenix provides the secondary ingredients for super antifire potions. The minigame phoenix near Piscatoris provides the summoning secondary for the phoenix pouch.
  11. On the hill next to the old cannoning spot, just east of the dungeon entrance on the minimap. I don't know the best exact spot, but it's such a short task that it won't make a lot of difference. It's around as fast as the old spot used to be.
  12. First theta = arctan(t/(r-e)), and then the arclength s =r*theta, where theta is measured in radians.
  13. I think there's a 50k cap on items you can place in your yak, though what Aslan said may be true. Haven't made overloads in ages. As for numbers, at absolute max pace both yak and the 'regular' method give 1200-1300 overloads per hour, though it's easier (imo) to achieve this using a yak. Bear in mind this is with mouse keys, and I personally don't make anywhere near that amount.
  14. Regarding the spot itself, with turmoil, overload, cannon & steel titan it's around 600 kills/h on a full pop. world, which is (very) roughly 60k xp/h. They're not great for anything else, though they drop a fair few blues. Poor for effigies, because the room has 6 soldiers (lvl 85) and only 2 guardians (lvl 141).
