A while ago I did the Do No Evil quest. After some chatting with desert gods to find out about a past monkey colony in the desert and getting orders to build a new one, I found myself running around Gielinor with melting ice-creams to convince King Awowogei. After some hassle to rebuild the colony, the three wise monkeys were kidnapped and I had to defeat three bosses. Miracle of miracles, I managed to kill all three with dying on twice. Quest finished. But after the quest, you get the possibi
It was one of those days you'll rarely forget in a hurry, when you see the last 10 years flash before you and wonder where it went Thinking of the people and the places and the stories and the smiles and then looking at where you are right now, at that moment In August 2011 - I was sitting in my dining room chatting with a friend whilst randomly tootling around Runescape 2 hours past, and the conversation become more serious and solid as the giggles lessened and the sombre mood overtook th
This week has been really weird for me. Theres been so much to do, no time to really get a lot of useful stuff done that I wanted to do. So on runescape I've been doing lots of slayer, yet again changing my goals. Woops. So I had a living rock monsters task, which was pretty easy, a gargoyles task which i destroyed, and then a hellhounds task. I'm now on a fire giants task and its going pretty good. I'm on a bit of a strength beasting. I really want to get 99 Strength before the combat update go
Okay, so this has nothing what-so-ever to do with Runescape, but I wanted to share this with y'all nevertheless. Yesterday and today I wrote a song. My first song. Ever. So I'm kinda proud of it, even though it's a very simple one :) And here's the link to it: http://musescore.com/user/39519/scores/57597 Be kind to it. It's my first "baby" :)
So now its on thursdays its a lot easier for me to write, and I've done more stuff. In runescape, i've changed all my goals now i've got 97 strength, and I'm aiming for more things to do, but I'm focussing on herblore. Today I got 80 prayer, which made me happy and helped me feel like I've actually achieved something. I'm slowly prioritizing my goals. Yesterday I began cleaning all my herbs, and by today I'd got all 6000 clean, and now I'm going to pot everything up except the avantoes, so that
So... here's my latest stack of books in my "to be read" pile. I'm slowly making my way through them: And this isn't even counting ebooks! Just for fun, because my cat is adorable
Got a nice selection of levels this past week, also got bothered and finished the last Fremennik Saga (Moia's, I failed it so many times around release because of stupid things, like getting all the way through and only then realising I messed up one of the memories at the start, so I just left it and ignored it). Plus I bought myself a Scroll of Cleansing, so when the money I need for Herblore turns up (It will somehow, I promise), I can save a little of it for other pursuits. Got another
I got 97 Strength today!! This was after quite a bit of hard work. It really is the first significant level I've obtained since I started playing again. I've done a lot of slayer recently, but it is going to be forever until I'll get the next level there. So my next plan is to finish my task and do the clue scroll, then dungeoneer for a bit to get to about level 70 I think. Then I'll probably go for 99 strength, and hopefully get 94 slayer, and hopefully 99 Constitution. Tomorrow I have my fit
It's silly, but 200 million accounts is as good a reason as any to start up a blog here on TIF. My first ever account was a bald guy named Lance20101 (I had learned my lesson already; there are no guarantees when you choose a name) that I made way back when RSC first went live for the public in 2001. I got the basics down, but then school got ahead of me, so I let him rot for a while. When I was ready and willing to come back, I had forgotten the password. Oops? By now he's been wiped from exi
Next week I'll change my blog schedule so that I'm posting on thursdays and sundays, as wednesdays aren't the best for me, and not much happens monday-wednesday. Anyway, this week, I've started my Iron Dragon task, and so far have got a Dragon Plateskirt drop, and thats about it. Thats about all I've done. I found out I'm 465 days from getting the 10 year cape. Pretty unexcited about this weeks update, only really cosmetic updates, which don't excite me at all. I've been working hard on a script
Got a whole bunch of levels this week.. First of my 90+ attempt. Next up will probably be Construction. Only a couple of hammers for that level. Catch you next time, ~Dax.
I've had an alright week, lots of stuff has happened, none of which seems related (apart from me being apart of them all). (warning: there is some whining) So after Wednesday passed, I was awaiting an order I'd placed. I've received everything I ordered (29 CDs), and things are great, kinda. I've had crap food all weekend and now I'm paying for it as I feel terrible and slow and tired, which I know is a consequence of my lack of strictness of my diet. Yesterday I went to the gym and absolutely

I seriously regret my idea to study Biology over the summer. I am finding it realy hard to do and to be honest, I'm behind. the subject in the first section is so boring and I'm moving throught it slow. I can only catch up if I first two weeks or material in one or add and extra chapter to each week of study. I really don't wanna take this class at school and knowing I can't transfer community college credit over, this is the only way. The next 5 weeks are gonna hurt. But I gotta grind now.
It's been ages since I've shared with you the silliness my parents seem to throw at me. So Dad and I were talking about work (I start a new job fairly soon) while fixing the stove (one of the dials for the burner was broken), and the subject of phones came up. Now, sad to say my dad pays my phone bill for me because we're under a family plan, but I'm definitely going to be doing my part (finally whoohoo) to pay for the bill soon because of this. Again, this was all in Chinese translated into E
Only got back from a week away yesterday, so I wasn't able to get this posted, here's my single level and a terrible clue for you. Next week is looking like it'll be a lot better already. Catch you next time, ~Dax.
...is Dark Souls. Yes, I find the game incredible, well designed and have an insane amount of fun playing it, despite dying a lot because I'm terrible at it. The game drew me in with intrigue and after I got it, it got thoroughly under my skin. I've been recently experimenting with different builds, but I've only completed the game once and am currently working on getting that character through new game plus. I really haven't spend much time playing it recently as I've got so many other things g
I’ve decided to keep a blog of my daily Runescaping and possibly real life stuff mainly for myself. Doubt others will be too interested but whatever. Just as a short intro for anyone who does read this- I’ve been playing for about 6 years now. My original account Darkmasterz8 was banned in ’07 so I started my main account D4rkm4st3rz8 as a result. I’ve maxed it out, gotten Completionist, and have nearly finished the trimmed requirements. My Darkmasterz8 has since been unbanned and I’m currently
Hey guys, Today I went to see The Amazing Spiderman. I annoyed my friends at the end by giving my rating in the form of the title of this blog, and the film. It was hilarious how mad they got at me... after the 4th time doing it. Anyway, the film was pretty good, I enjoyed it, and by no means was disappointed with it. So, I've been playing a lot of runescape, although I don't think it shows. I spent the last few days really trying to do a lot. I did most of the easier quests that I'd missed ou

So as some of you already have seen from my status updates and occasionally in the official unofficial HYT chat hosted by Serpent Eye, or in the DGS clan chat, I've been playing the Flash Powder Factory (FPF) mini-game in hopes to gain enough Brianpoints to get 99 agility. Now, this method is slow. By slow I mean for 10 Brianpoints, you get 950 XP, for 100 Brianpoints you get 9500 XP, for 1000 Brianpoints you get 95,000 XP, and for 10,000 Brianpoints you get 950,000 XP. For every hour you woul

For the past three day Chicago has had triple digit degree weather. Today was 103. By tomorrow afternoon, however; it should cool down. Other than the hot weather I had a pretty fun weekend with my boyfriend. Since by brother and mother were out of town I refused to sit at home alone most the day. Friday I went over his house and watched 2 horror movie (one of which was also a comedy, thou both were funny >:D) Saturday we went to a family BBQ and Sunday we went to the Shedd Aquarium and I too
