What do YOU think the Easter event will be?(UPDATED)
I like the holiday island thing but last years easter event was NOT stupid. I spent a week hopping around, eating eggs, and chasing various friends through the tunnels. Best event EVER

@Dreams =)@
Ya, unless you keep a jornal for awhile, most dreams are forgoten as soon as you become fully conscious (normaly a couple minutes). Lucid dreams are always interesting, the hardest part I have with lucid dreaming is it takes me considerable effort and self control to not wake up. Still Lucid dreams are well worth the effort if you get a nice long one, flying is really quite fun, havent been able to add bodyparts though, im not even sure if the human mind can simulate extra parts, like limbs and eyes. The only problem is sometimes you end up being conscious during the paralisis that occurs upon a normal awakening, and I can tell you it is unplesent and you can end up with quite disturbing halucinations during that phase :ohnoes:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I think harry and Voldemort, and if not Harry it will be Ron, Hermionie(sp?), or Hagrid. I really didnt like the ending of the last book :(

Investigating the Wise Old Man
As t3h points out, the new quest dose indeed mean that the zamakorian mages know of runecrafting, and since they seem to have a tunnel going to the alter they have likely known about runecrafting for a fairly long time. Assuming the tunnel has been there since the time our charecters were created (pretend that all charecters are created a a set time in the games history) then the zamakorian mages have known longer than the modern day regular mages because it is our charecters that finaly make runecrafting possible. However it would still seem that the WOM does not know of runecrafting. And yes, when I did the knights sword quest, Thurgo had not yet been changed into the npc with the widest/bigest "width to height" ration in the known world.

What is your favourite runecrafting altar by the scenery?
Fire alter, it matches my armour :D

Investigating the Wise Old Man
A little thing I find interesting. I used some money on the WOM and he said some stuff including "when you have as much money as I do, you realise it dosent really matter(how much you have)" or something like that. So the robery made him pretty rich. (Anyone who has a bath screen gold plated has WAY to much money)

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Ok, the results of my questing. The only interesting thing about Thurgo is...his shape. REally, the guy reminds me ofa walking pile of mashed potatos. But he is an imcando dwarf so he is a master smith, and the WOM may want him to make something. Have we ever done a proper search of draynor manor? There are alot of those wall charms containing the symbol we belive to represent famine. (the swirl) And in other news that may not be relevent...the witch in draynor mano is the sister of the witch in the dark kights fortress where you do the quest. I found this out by re-doing the quest.

Have a paradox?
Good one. If you killed your parents (back in time), that would be like killing yourself before you were born!!! Both of you look at "John Titor" on wikipedia. If those theories are right, going back in time would send you into a slightly different time-line (but if the theoretical time machine "John" was talking about was improved, one could arrive in an identical time line (you create a new time line by going back into yours and changing it... ). So even if you go back into your original time line and do something, it will have no effect on you, since by changing your time line, you've split it in two.). By my reasoning, going back in time and killing your parents would have no effect, since than you would not be born, and if you werent born, you wouldnt go back in time to kill your parents, so theyed still be alive to have you, so you would still be born. Got that? If I recal correctly the answer is actualy yes. If you define sound as vibrations travaling through a medium the answer is yes. Now ask the same question substituting "noise" for sound, now the answer is no. sound - vibrations travaling through a medium, dose not reqire anything to be aware or mesure those vibrations. Now noise would by general definition be someone or something recording/sensing/hearing those vibrations. By hearing a sound you make that sound a noise. So recap. If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is there, does it make a sound? Answer: Yes. If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is there, does it make a noise? Answer: No. Just my own theory on that particular paradox. Hears one. If all infinitys are equal (which they are) and there are infinite numbers, there must also be infinate prime numbers (this is laying down facts, not the paradox really), so the # of numbers = # of prime numbers (even though not all numbers are prime). Think about that for awhile. In truth, I dont think its healthy to think about infinity to much.

wireless internet help
Go to: Control Panel>Administartive Tools>Services Scroll down to the botom and you should see "Wireless Zero Configuration" If it is on turn it off, and if it is off then turn it on. This is assuming you have Windows XP btw. Now if the end result is that its on, than go to the properties for the conection, go to the wireless networks tab, and cheack the box that says "Use Windows to configure my wirless networks". This will alow XP to manage your card, assuming it can figure out how the card works. Windows can normally figure it out. My wirless network was horrible until i discovered this, it would lag me out of runescape every 5 minutes untill I found Wirless Zero Configuration, hope this healps.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Reldo dosen't say anything useful, at least not on free servers. I would like to know why theres a wizard dressed in gray with a huge hat, maby one of our member investigators would like to talk to him. I suspect he has something to do with the new quest which also looks like it could be relevent. That horseshoe symbol on the stone in the circle...it looks simaler to the horseshoe symbol on banners in the varrock palace. I'm on my way to speak with Thurgo now. Hes also says nothing useful. I suspect they might say something useful during the quest, so I'll send my secondary to do the knights sword quest.

duck invasion fake by me
If I am not mistaken the added ducks are the only thing edited. Now thats not always bad but most fakes, atleast around here have an edited chatbox that relates to the scene and maby funny. A variaty of ducks would be nice. 6/10

Iban is NOT Zamoracks son by blood, but I belive he was manipulated by Zamorack to belive this though im not sure. But I am 100% certain that Ibans only relationship to Zamorack is mentality and power.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Confused about time for meetings, I know the feeling, and i'll try to help. First the meetings are held at 07:00 pm (19:00) GMT (Grand Meridian Time). Now where I live thats 4pm because my time zone (AST - Atlantic Standard Time) is GMT -04:00 meaning GMT time subtract 4 hours, although currently is -3 hours because you add one hour for daylight savings. I just thougth of a way around you maby not knowing your timezone...you post something here and when you do, put in the local time, i'll see the post time in my timezone, ill do the math and tell you when the meetings are. Alternativly there an hour before TET events so you could use there officil countdown.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Has anyone got anyplace they want me to go to? or shall I go back to the relaxing lifestyle of being a fisherman? And I mean a closed clan consisting of the major contributors. And putting WOMDA as a clan is far more subtle than the investigating WOM thing many of us have in our sigs (nothing against them thogh, I like them!) And I belive the symbol of Guthix is more like an upright "~" or something like that.
-
Investigating the Wise Old Man
Regarding the clan thing, I ment put WOMDA in the clan slot nothing more. I just ended a wildy trip on my secondary account, to see that symbol on the sheild my self, I saw than left because the dark warriors keep trying to kill me. The symbol on the rock in the dark circle looks likea pointy horse shoe, don't know what it means.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I got something of a translation for that latin thing. I saw, I wanted, and theres other things for what comes next but, from that I can tell you exactly what it means: I saw it, I wanted it, It's mine. It says that in the book followed by its latin translation.
-
Translation...
If anyone knows what this means, or wants to have a go at translating it, please do. Im quite sure its latin but the first to words wont translate so I dont have any meaning. Vidi, volui, mihi est

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I didnt realise the dark circle has had a graphic update, I dont think i've actualy looked at it in months. Now the only church left to examine is that one south of port sarim, unless anyone else knows where there is a stainglass window that is the picture of a tree? Im more interested in the symbol of the priests chest than the colour of his robes. Unless im mistaked and dark wizard robes have that symbol on htem now... I might try to break into that wildy fortress myself, but i'll go alone, I have a second account that might be useful for this and I cant reveal its identity. Or i'll just take my main and assume i'll havev about 5 minutes until a force shows up looking for me, which has happened more than once when I have been there. Oh, and I suggested this at the meeting but of course ill put this here for people to think about: What if the WOM is not strictly human, but of the same race and origan as the mahjarrat. I'm not saying that he is or ever was mahjarrat, but that he is the same race as there tribe (I belive there to be multiple tribes in freneskae that are the same race as the mahjarrat). I think this could explain his power with magic and why he can take so much damage. (from what i'vee heard of the damage he takes and the effect of his health bar, he might have a 4 digit hp level). I might also propose that we make ourselves our own clan (WOMDA of course), mainly so we can say were in a clan, and maby make a list of us on the first post....just a thought. I too was only able to translate the last 2 words, and the meaning I got was something like 1. Give me lots of land, it is right. or 2. me, and it is right.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I cant speek for everyone but I think you could be a part of the team sure. I don't attack WOMDA members, though whats your combat? The 3 of us are combat 65/66, 77, and 86 I think.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I have found something interesting at the chaos alter in south varrock. These are the windows from the lumbrige church should anyone be intested. Varrock church has the same windows. The chaos alter has none. KC I think will cheack the church south of port sarim and the one with wine of zammorack. Heres a pic of the priest in the varrock church. Whats that symbol on his chest? And last but not least, what looks familiar in this picture?anyone? look back a page or 2 to see the pics I got of the one at the black knight fortress, now seen here outside the chaos alter in varrock :ohnoes:
-
Investigating the Wise Old Man
I know the feeling and its almost creepy. if you check the churches in varrock make sure you cheack both, it is a window in a chaos alter after all so maby the chaos alter in varrock ha sthose windows.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Here we go, the picture I expected to have about 2 hours ago. The window from the chos temple is a little small, but i'm not going to lvl 47 wildy for a better one, at least not tonight. Anyway the picture outlined in black is from the chaos temple/alter and the other 2 are from the monestary. Personaly I think the sword one from the monestary would have been more suting to a chaos alter than a nice tree and vice versa, but, no matter. Heres the picture. I am actualy quite curioius as to why a sword would be a symbol in a window of a building dedicated to peace? I would say an iron long sword but it might be an iron short. The little round one is obviously a symbol of saradomin, and if you can't tell, the one from the chaos alter is a butiful tree. Weird :-k :ohnoes: Oh and if anyone wants me to go back into the wildy for more adventures and pictures, tell me and Ill see what I can do, and maby King Wenlock and KC Hughes will come with me...who knows?
