Selling online items and eBay
I agree with what the creator has said, and the slave thing is something that never would have occured to me. But I can't help but think that if someone gives out there credit card info and dosen't get the gp they "paid" for (basicly they have money stolen), well they deserve it, sure the punishments a bit over the top, but stuff happens when you do stupid things. So I can only hope that with E-Bay out of the picture, the smart people stop what there doing all togetther, and the stupid people get robbed. If you can't tell im not much for the safety of people who break serious rules, I have enough trouble with the minor rule breakers as it is.

Favourite Car
Daloreans are cool, especialy the doors, which I think are the same type as on the Lamborgini Contach (give me an award if I spelled that right!). I like Lamborgini's and BMW's, btu what I really want is a Loutus Esprit, breferably a 2002 (or newer, I like new cars too). But my final answer is a (2002) "Loutus Esprit"

should jagex change the way we see players?
I think it should display both. Total level because its a better indicator of experiance and achivement and combat level because Im used to seeing it and, to be honest, runescape is largly oriented around combat, and combat level is an achievement that is truly seperate from your total level. So ya, display both. :

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I agree with KingWenlok's last statement, but I'll stick to a rune 2 hander in his face (seeing as he has no neck). Anyway, resubmit the letter...and my next post will definatly have more substance than this one... :anxious:

Quick Exercise/"flipping" question
That would be a bigger problem if your like me and have high arches. On the pressure pad the foot doctor used (pediatrition?), you cant see ANY thing between my heel and ball of the foot, although the skin does touch. (I sound really angry when i walk barfoot, Bang, Bang, Bang). But ya landing like that on a high arch would hurt, so if you have a high arch wear shoes!

Rs becoming more individualistic?
I started playing about a month after rs2 was released, and I have noticed a change. The most noticable example I can offer is the conversation found at the docks on karamja when fishing in f2p. Way back when I started playing I actualy enjoyed some semi-intelegent conversation or a good debate. Now I try to ignore the conversation as it consists mainly of people experamenting with chat effects, name calling, and people repededly banging random keys. I find that the decline of intelegent fishing conversation has happened along with the change of many players attitudes as they become more 'self-serving'.

Is luring an acceptable practice?
I don't belive that luring should be encoraged, but on the other hand I also believe that people should use there common sense to protect there things ingame. There is a warning before you enter the wilderness (and i belive it stops your movement when it comes up) that tells you about the danger. Also for a new player theres that skull and crossbone siting in your window. If stupidity were a crime than falling for lures would be against the rules, unless maby they were some extrodanary online con artist, which i doubt. To the lurers, you really shouldnt be taking advantage of another persons ignorance and/or stupidity, and to the people who are lured, shame on you for being a moron. And finally, to the people who kill lurers, good job and keep up the good work

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I think the colours of the toy horses are black, white, tan, and red. And if The WOM's phat was the crown, would that not make the WOM one of the riders? Of couse hes still missing the bow, but if jagex wanted to bend the story a bit, his ability to cast magic with the staff might be his 'bow'.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Its nice to get a good view of the thing on the desk. It looks like a plane but the piece on the back would suggest (to me at least) that it is a submarine (a model one). I think that many of the objects are in some way related to the wizards tower, the model, map, and ess are the most obvious, but the armour is linked by the symbol of saradomin, so it stands to reason that the eyes are also linked to the tower. The only link I can think of (and this is going out on a limb) is the eye patern in the windows of the tower, but im sure that there is a better link. any ine got ideas?

Are there skills enough?
It has been agreed, in a large MMORPG convention, that the only thing that makes WoW seem better than Runescape is the graphics. + 1. if jagex would to have a huge massive update that would equal its graphics to that of WoW ... blizzard would lose much of its income. but still, it is mostly impossible. we are looking at jagex and its game engine which is based on java. on topic: i think there are just enough skills. not too little for over 50% of the population to finish the game. but not too many to congest our game screen. but don't you think its getting albeit squeezy in our cosy inventory? I think that there is enough skills. Though from my perspective there are only 15 skills, and the graphics can't be upgraded while runescape is a web browser game.

Who Realy Pays For Runescape?
google strugling to make money? thats priceless. There swimming in money. On -topic. I suspect that the ads pay for f2p (servers cost, bandwidth, etc), while the member money goes to paying staff and revenue. And while I think there is a connection between money made from ads and number of clicks, I think its more like, if alot of people click on ads in general, Jagex can charge more for ads on their site.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
If hes telling the oracle to make that riddel harder than the WOM is tied to the dragon slayer quest. (that riddel is the one that tells you how to open the door in the dwarven mine if anyone forgot). That could tie the WOM in with the (second?) map piece. That could definatly mean that this plot could involve melzar, that guy who sells rune plate bodys, and the goblin wormbrain.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I dont think the WOM is a mage. In the readers comments in one of his books he says "...poxy mage scum". This would be an interesting comment if he were a mage. I'm not saying he has low magic lvls, he is definitly well versed in magic, but his gold trimmed sara armour would suggest he is primarily a warrior.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I have found something interesting about the bank watching the WOM. the tree to the west of the draynor bank closest to the WOM house. There is a bank gaurd in that tree, and you can talk to him. Maby he reveals something on a members server? When you examine said tree, you get something about legs (you can see the gaurds legs). Does anyone have any ideas on why there is a picure of a smily face on the floor in the WOM house? I am not sure that the human magics the gnome has come to learn are strickly saradomin magics. From what I know and have seen, magic is mearly something of the powers of the gods (something we were not intended to have I think) and knows no allegance to any god. The dark wizars that summon delrith use standard magics suggesting saradomin mages and zammorak mages use the same (or almost the same) spells. As for Guthix I dont know. Im just throwing this out there but could the council be a government ruleing body (im just thinking, I have no evadence to support this)
