Sad to see such a footballing great go. I still remember him ripping apart Brazil in France 98. And that amazing volley he scored from a R.Carlos cross. I hope he can go out with a big bang in the world cup, he truly is a legend. But really, i think its about time he retired now, theres no doubt hes seen his best days. Though i hope to see him return to football in a few years. Maybe as a manager, or talent scout.

Not really famous, but Nemesis KKC and the other KKC people, I watched his video on RSC pking once a few years ago, ever since then i have always wanted to be a pker like him.

I think the squad is a joke. How can jermaine Defoe be put behind Crouch? and Walcott. Surely hes the best option after Rooney or owen? And its very unfair for Darren bent. Hes scored 18 goals this season i believe. The highest scoring English striker. And he isnt even put on standby? Whereas Walcott walks into the team without having played first team football since January. And having never played in the Premiership. I think Hargreaves was a good choice though. I dont see much of him since he plays for Munich. But from what i have seen, he seems to be a faster, skillfull winger. Good replacement/sub for joe cole i think. Not a first team starter though. Is Kirkland still injured? I would much rather have him as a replacement than James, with the amount of mistakes he has made, and he has been given a fair number of chances to make up for it too. I also dont think Downing should be on that list. Theres players of better quality out there imo. I really do hope that this Provisional squad turns out to be far from the real one

Do you have friends that think runescape is stupid???
kav replied to aznhiroller's topic in General Discussion
Some of my freinds think its stupid, they try and make fun out of me. Its pretty funny seeing them put their arm straight, and then move it up and down to imitate the combat system on rsc lol. Ironically, they all play tibia, so they arent in a position to say anything :P -
I havent seen the new updates so i cant comment on the change it will make. But from the pictures i have seen, I think it will be really good to see a deathmarch through the hills.

I am pretty sure i remember reading, ages ago way before rs2. In one of those letters to the gods which i dont think they do anymore. Zamorak said something about pures, so they must have recognised pures a very long time ago.

The only reason i joined BK was because the reqs for 'The' clan were too high, So i thought i would join Bk. until my levels were high enough for 'The' clan. And i thought that being in an alliance clan was the next best thing in the meantime. Obiously i had no clue about loyalty back then, i was pretty young too. But its been four years since that day, and i have never once looked back and regretted joinging Bk, Sometimes i am even thankfull that 'the' reqs were too high for me (no disrespect to 'the' intended, i still think you guys are a great clan, even though we arent in the alliance anymore) I have learnt so much from the clan, and shared some very good times with the people. That i cannot possibly even consider leaving it anymore . But after you have been in a clan a while, all your freinds move onto bigger and better things, and soon enough you are left with a large amount of people who you know nothing about. I hope i can get to know the new members in Bk when i have some more time in my life.

Runescape- I'll never be the same. Long
kav replied to invrmeanttobesocold's topic in General Discussion
I can relate to everything you said, when i was just starting out i felt the same way too. And i always said iw ill become the best player the game has seen, it never even crossed my mind until months, perhaps a year had gone by, when i realised it would not happen. Good story. -
Ok, i spent around three hours here today (need 1k more exp to 98 attack :P ) In that time i tried killing each different portal a considerable amount of times, and im 100% certain that there must be some sort of pattern here because the South - East portal is by far the easiest one to kill for me (using a whip). Perhaps the colours of the portals means something? If i have time tommorow, or could be wednesday, i have a lot of work. I could try and use a dragon sword with different attack styles, to see if it increases the hit frequency on different portals, and then il try mage and range to see if that makes a noticable difference.
-
I have found that the South East portal (the yellow one) is by far the easiest to kill while using Melee. Most of the time i can easily solo it before the other members of the team arrive to help, so i think that perhaps the portals are weak to different types of combat. So i just wanted to know if anyone else who kills the portals rather than defending the knight noticed that the south east portal is much weaker, or perhaps its all a massive fluke?

They are seriously on there? Wow im going out to buy the times lol.

Jagex needs ... --- i think the looked at my thread ---
kav replied to 0_Xp_In_Def's topic in General Discussion
Imo, If you want to win, you should not go to the common worlds, by which i mean, 2, 6, 9, ect. Although they may have the most people, i find that most of the time they are mostly lower levels who arent very good at the game. I played on world 2 for a few hours, i found i was losing around half my games. I tried my home world, 78 this morning, and although it is sometimes a bit longer waiting for the games to start, I find that we win around 85-90% of the games. Just this morning i managed to get 91k exp in attack, over 1 and a half hours. -
you cant take them outside castle wars
-
Nice guide, but one question. I was playing once, we killed all the portals, and i got three points instead of 1. Any idea how that could have happened? or am i just seeing things?

Random events: harder for older accounts to get them???
kav replied to Kalliel's topic in General Discussion
I dont think there is any link, my account is well over four years old, but from what i have seen, i dont get random events any more frequently than anyone else, or less. -
What has been happening to him lately? I remember how he was supposed to be the next superstar some years ago but at least I haven't heard a single word of him for ages. Don't want to judge your choice, just would like to hear how is he doing now :P I hope he doesn't end up like this guy :P Cherno Samba Wow! I've not heard that name in years! Used to be the Freddy Adu of his time in Champ Man. Adu has done the sensible thing by staying at DC instead of going for a big move to the top Italian or English teams that are interested in him. Keep the pressure of him and he will develop into a quality player. The difference between Adu and Samba is that Adu is already playing at the top level in his country, which Samba never did. Havent heard much of him either, recently. Apparently hes in very poor form. But as they say, form is temporary and class is permanent.

Hleb is a great dribbler, but he needs to work on his passes a bit, he gives the ball away quite a lot.
-
My top 5 players would be Ronaldinho Thierry Henry Steven Gerrard Eto'o Kaka/Riquelme For the biggest teenage prospects i think Lionel Messi Francesc Fabregas Freddy Adu John Obi Mikel Theo Walcott I think the best teams right now, not taking history into consideration are. Barca Arsenal Lyon Cant really think of many more at the moment, maybe Valencia, Benfica, Villareal or liverpool.

Hey Jammy, (sorry slightly off topic here :P)
-
Hah i remember i had a shiny David Beckham one, everyone was so jealous, lol.
-
I think Thierry Henry will get the golden boot this time. Imo, hes the best centre forward in the world (though thats biased coming from an Arsenal supporter). But theres no doubt hes a great player, and he really deserves a great career with many trophies to look back on when hes retired. I also hope he can win the champions league with Arsenal before he retires. And also, assuming Xavi is not back from injury, keep a look out for Francesc Fabregas. Hes only 18 but he has such great composure and vision. I think hes going to be player of the year one day.

England. This time round we actually have good players. (maybe except Gary Neville :P ). But assuming we dont have any injuries to key players such as, A.Cole. Terry.Gerrard. Fat Frank, Rooney ect. We have a great chance. England have a relatively easy group, so it wont be hard to progress, we should easily finish top of our group. Sure Brazil have a good chance, but they really are overated. Look at their first team, Sure they have some world class players, but they have some very weak links too. Especially in defence, all their defenders are very offensive, thus being very weak in defence. Their tactic is to pretty much score more goals than the opposition. And when Brazil face a team which can dominate possesion, and the midfield area, its going to be hard for Brazil to get anything out of the game. P.S, as the other guy said, its Football.

The one thing i love about England is the football. Simply the best in the world. The most annoying thing is probably the weather. Freezing cold.
