well, in teh Art Bazaar i recently made a request for some abstract/grunge/whatever sigs, featuring my pet turtle, Turt, in celebration of her Hatchday. I didnt get any sigs on the thread, so I decided to try and make my own, even though Ive always been horrible at making sigs; theyre always bland, 2D, boring, etc. but some of these i actually like this time, what do you think? C/C, links to good brushes, and to good, easy to use tuts is appreciated! I know theyre all pretty similar.. I seem unable to move away from that type for some reason #-o first, my fave two of the sigs with turt: also, how do i add depth to sigs? (as a side note, im using Photoshop 7.0. im not using that as an excuse, like "my siggehs suck cause ive only got PS 7.0, Just saying, incase anyone knows of particularly good PS 7.0 brushes or tuts) and yes i know, turts cute, and no, noone can have her, shes mine

not desperate, would just like it if some tipiters could make one or two, if noone can thats alright, i understand. the font dosnt matter at all, was just one that i thought suited.

i know people on tip it can do much better than that, i know im only a noob at doing abstracts, i prefer pixels and IMO im better at pixelling. also, id like a few of them, so i can add them to a sig rotater, to show off my little turdle.. forgot to mention that anyone thats kind enough to make a 'Turt' sig will be mentioned in my siggeh space. gonna upload a few more pics soon

no, im actually after abstracts if possible. I'm going to take a few more pics of turt soon. ive also cut out the background on a few of the pictures, and ill post them in a minute!

im hoping some abstract makers will make me a few sigs with turt in, then ill be going to uzzisoft again. and of course you can edit it, i dont mind :)

to be honest, i vote that you leave the chain, looks great to me. it actually looks like chain mail, which is something i, and quite a few others, can never seem to get. the first thing i noticed that seemed wrong were the shoulder plates on the main characters armor. they seem twisted towards the back. the points should be visible, because from teh angle of the arm is kinda showing the side of the arm if that makes any sense what-so-ever. also the chars left shoulder seems too low, and the right shoulder slightly too high. may be my failing vision though :lol: nice work yet again :)

well heres a challange for all you pro abstract makers! I'm hoping some of you will give your best go at these, but if not thats alright too! My pet turtle, Turt, just had her 1st birthday on the 2nd of January, and if possible, I'd love it if some of you great people could make some sigs, with turt in them! Theres a few pictures that you can choose from if you'd like to do this, and I can get plenty more! I know a lot of these pictures may be very difficult to make sigs out of... I know some may not even be considered possible, but if some of you could give it a go, I'd be eternally greatful! i will add the names of anyone that makes a 'turt' sig in my sigspace, with much thanks! The actual request: Type- Abstract/grunge/fractal, whichever suits! Size- anywhere between 350x100 to 400x175, or whatever really! yours is far better than mine faelenof :shock: unfortunatly mine took ages, longer than any other pixel ive ever done that size (it was also the hardest) but it still didnt turn out as great as i was hoping. anyway, i still turned mine into a sig... but, is it better than my current one with turt? :D turdle FTW! but seriously.. should i use it as my sig? and can anyone do a better jo with the text? :oops:

i love that sig :shock: one problem; it isnt mine :cry: i personally prefer the contrasted version. you can see the details better, like some of those arrows on the right hand side, i couldnt see before. but i love the colours, and i love it overall :shock: edit: got bored and played around. the i just raised contrast, lowered brightness a tad and raised saturation a little. personally i prefer it with the even higher contrast and saturation, but thats me, personally. sorry for stealing your siggeh :oops:

i love that ring faelenof :shock: especially the inscriptions on it, no way i could make that so.. so.. 'proper'- the inscriptions look real! awesome work :shock: still wish mine was better, but eh, oh well. judges, did you figure out the reason why i did a knight and horse with so much armor? did MDH send you the explanation for it?

pretty good PJB :wink: I could make these. and actually used to. but not runescape related things. i used a program called ProDesktop 8.0. its actually a graphics program, and for assignments i had to do 3D modelling in it. the school gave everyone copies of it for a $1 each. it was legal, the school contacted the maker of the program and said we could use it for educational uses only, which now i just play around with it, make carved horses and stuff... lol. you've just inspired me to make something in it now :thumbsup:

i know the helmets bad :oops: i spent absolutly ages looking at reference pictures, trying my own ideas, everything. eventually found a LOTR one that i used as a kinda reference and modified it. looks weird but i dunno how to fix it :cry: the version i entered had animated glowing dodgy eyes.. but actually put my signature ("DS") and couldnt be bothered re animating atm. i wanna know who won :(

ok PJB said i can post it... hmm... hope this is ok... if any other judges come and say they havnt actually judged it, then this is commin down quick smart! so PJB do you know who won between eckered and me? dont think its really my best work though i do love the armor on that horse.. such an evil horse... just messed the character up :cry:

I got those speakers too :D. Yes that's very nice bowl. How long did it take to make? my teachers has those speakers : do i get ne points for that? i really like even the colours my parents have those speakers :lol: pretty neat little bowl, i probably couldnt do something that smooth
