Barely played the last week. Been training for the MS150 which is a charity bike ride from Houston to Austin, TX. It is around 170 miles and raises money for the National Multiple sclerosis society. In the little time I have played (mainly just dailies) I've gotten 96 construction and closing in on 90 base (not counting invention). I also bought a Lance so I have t90 Mage and range and t85 Melee until I can afford a scythe. My girlfriend goes back to work on Wednesday and the MS150 is this weekend so I'll be back grinding away next week. I'm excited to see how NXT is. Goals over the next few weeks: ROTM FOTG Light Within Lord of Vampyrium Grind out 80 Invent at Muspahs 99 Construction Maybe 90 base if I can play enough.

Or you could just use warpriest? The extra defense you gain from t75 -> t80 is definitely NOT worth the pricetag. Also, how is it an upgrade from power armor? The Slike Anima Armor has no offensive bonuses. It has the ability to do the tuska warpriest effect, which if you don't already have it, takes 12 hours to get..Don't you have to own the warpriest set for the effect to apply anyways?

I'm personally waiting for the GWD2 armour to stabilize a bit then I'm buying the Sliske Top/Legs (hybrid) for power slaying and low/mid PvM. With that you wouldn't have to change your outfit for DKS, TDs, KQ, and regular slayer tasks. But right now it's around 50M for the set I believe

One prices settle (or I solo crests) I'm getting a Sliske top and legs for slayer. No point in helm with Slay Helm. Figure it will be a nice upgrade from t70 power armour and I won't have to change anything but weapon for DKS, TDs, KQ etc.

Didn't play as much this weekend as I wanted, but made some money from some duo drops. Bought a Nox Bow (and augmented so I won't sell). I have 13M cash now so I'm saving for a lance. I'm currently at 1k/2k crystal dust for a attuned hally to last me until I get lance. After I get a Lance I'm gonna save for drygores again then start saving for scythe. I'll wait until scythe hype drops and I can buy it for around 200M. Invention followed by GWD2 made scythe hype go way up. Soon I need to get back to maxing. Working on 90 base still and gotta get back to the invention grind.

The hybrid set allows you to choose passive abilities from warpriest (assuming you own the set).

Thank you! Just doing it for a bit of fun. But I guess melee set would be nice since I could do casual slayer and not worry about gp for recharges.I personally want the hybrid set first. That way I can keep slaying and do low-mid level PvM without changing outfits or having to worry with recharging. For GWD1, DKS, KQ, and regular slayer tasks I think the hybrid is #1.

I was doing duo twins with lance vs a friend with scythe. I was getting 40ish% of the kills. The lance is a great middle ground for those who can't afford scythe or are prioritizing staff/bow over scythe. I also made 2m from buying and selling lance. I'll probably buy one to keep soon or wait til I solo one

I'm at around 100 KC at the twins and Vindicta. Working on getting all rep to 1k for the 50% increases loot at each boss. Then I'll just keep farming. Most kills are in duo with some trio mixed in (trio at twins is bae with 2h Melee). I plan on camping 100 twins and 100 Vindicta solo Friday and Saturday, then I will move on to Greg and Helwyr. For the twins I've been using the Dragon Riders Lance. It's actually quite good. I get about 40% of the kills at twins duo vs a friend in the same gear but with scythe. I bought it for 26M and sold it 3 hours later for 28M so not only did I make 11M from killing Gwd2 bosses I made an additional 2M from unintentionally merching the lance. Current item goal is Noxious Bow. I was planning on getting scythe, but lance will do the trick until I can afford it. I'd rather have bow first also. Hopefully I can get a few drops doing 100 solo kills of each boss (crests, wands, glaives and lances preferred). Side note: I finally got sunglasses yesterday. The one rare item token item I wanted. I also had enough with the sale to get serpentine rapiers.
