  4. There are better looking cheap cases than that around. Remember, the cheaper the case is, the harder it will end up being to install stuff.

  8. hmm, i seem to be having great trouble finding a motherboard that supports ddr500, i don't know why :S If you end up buying a motherboard that only supports up to ddr400, then the ram will downclock, so it's not the end of the world, but it is a waste of money to buy the ddr500 ram then.

  18. start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore, then pick a date before it started happening, and click restore.
  19. ok, back up all essential data (and i don't mean programs you download by essential, i mean work work or possibly saved games) and then do a system restore to the date before this started happening. If this doesn't fix it then we will know it's probably not going to be a software issue.

  23. Ok, I want to know the amount it will take to persuade you into: 1. Buying an AMD processor and 2. Building your own PC. 1.The AMD processors are much better than intel ones unless you plan to compile movies. If you want, just take a look at processor benchmarks around the internet, you won't find many that show Intel being better than AMD at something. 2. Building your own PC, you can learn tonnes of new things about PC's you never knew before, you can be more confident about opening one up, and you can take your time building it. If you are only 16-17 that leaves you plenty of time to plan what you need to build it, don't worry, getting it wrong is better than getting it right, as long as you come to us with what you might be getting wrong first, then we can help you. However, if you do really want an intel, then you might as well get that laptop. What difference will it make?
