Dual core doesn't mess up old software, old software messes up dual core, well, not really messing it up, but not using it fully.

We need more details. For starters, we need the specs for your computer. 2ndly, It cannot be "all of a sudden" on it's own, because otherwise it would still be working? Was runescape updating itself? Did you change any settings? Did you patch anything? Have you tried a system restore to the date before all this started happening?

$10-$15 fans are probably 80mm ones, i'm guessing you spent more money on a 120mm fan. Make sure to buy the right size.

avoid accidentally clicking the address bar, if you click around it inside the grey and hit backspace, it will go back pages instead of back-spacing to take out letters.

do not use alienware or sony unless you want to waste your money on something you can get tonnes cheaper elsewhere, seriously, avoid both of them.

I dunno about that motherboard, i was reading some reviews on the site and there seemed to be quite a few angry customers in that thread, too many for my liking. It should be fine, although some games (medal of honor) only seem to come with one language, mine for some reason thinks it is french, even though the dialog for the game is in English, when i patch it i have to download the french patch :lol: -
Make sure you run the runescape website in IE.

go to start>control panel, switch to classic view, double click network connections. Right click the one for the internet and click properties. Go down to the internet protocol and click the properties button. Then switch it to manually obtain ip address or something along those lines, then type in what you need.

I would definatly 2nd the AMD cpu, not too go against intel too much, they're not bad, just AMD is much better, and since most of their products you will need are socket 939, it makes for easier upgrades of processor without having to change motherboard.

My sister got her lip peirced, it's not that bad, but i don't plan on doing it myself, i'd be fiddling with the piercing too much. Also, pretty much any other place just looks horrible, i don't mind one or two, but having any more than that is rediculous. Oh yeah, and mtv isn't alternative, mtv2, kerrang, the amp and scuzz is alternative :P

it's very good work, but you'd best be careful, remember, the sig size limits apply to the total of both sigs, so if both sigs combined are too tall you might have to change them :S

yeah but that case comes with a built in psu, you could probably find a cheaper similar alternative case that comes without it.

yes i would certanly recommend changing that case, try and find one that doesn't come with a built in power supply, and buy one seperate instead.

if things are running fine for now, then don't upgrade yet, wait till the middle of the year when athlon will be using M2.

I'm guessing you might have tried to install messenger plus, i'm also guessing that you forgot to unselect the spyware it offers you.

you could try doing a tracert to runescape.com, go to cmd and type tracert runescape.com, to find out how you reach the website.
