I'm imagining something like the Solstheim region of Morrowind. Frozen forests, deadly arctic wildlife,, bears, beers, and [bleep]ING VIKINGS. Truly a manly region. I've never played Morrowind either, but I always figured people saying it's better than oblivion is just nostalgia. I also always lol'd at the complaints that Oblivion didn't have that same free feel as Morrowind because of the auto travel option, and it needs to be taken out. You can still walk between towns, the option is still there not to auto travel, so stop complaining and start walking, I enjoyed just walking and enjoying the graphics of oblivion sometimes, especially since I had the all natural mod, so it looked amazing. They're the kind of people who complain McDonalds makes them fat, but still eat there 4 or 5 times a month.

Shale is the best thank evar <3: <3: <3: Return to Ostagar just gives you some new equipment and you get to actually put Calin's body to rest. Havent played the rest. So basically, shale is definitely worth it, Return to Ostagar is worth it if you're a story person (which I am) and i've used some of the feastday gifts to get my approval up quickly, also really nice since your party members do get boosted stats if they like you. (or in my case if you're a man-[bleep]).

How did this go? I got it installed, and dragon age is actually much easier to mod than oblivion. Most mods have you make an "override" file to stick the files for the mod in, so it doesn't change the regular files of the game. Though Dragon Age isn't as big as oblivion and doesn't have near as many mods. One thing I was mainly looking for, that I didn't get, is balancing on the difficulty. I'm playing normal, and most of the time, it's not that hard, about average, but then the developers will decide to throw an almost impossible hard fight at you for no given reason, and then it's back to normal. And the damn wolves and spiders, but i've already covered them. I'm an elf mage; i've completed getting shale and Return to Ostagar.

It goes back to mortal kombat doesn't it? Parents saw that violent video game, and eventually it led to the ESRB, to warn the parents about violent video games when they are buying them for their kids. I'd say, yes i'm a nerd for knowing that, but this is a video game subforum in the off topic section of a runescape fansite, I don't think I even need to say it.

I use firefox. I have my own skin, have a few downloaded addons, and it's pretty fast to browse. My only complaint would be the bug in the version I have, where the longer I leave firefox running, the more memory it starts to use up. When I first log on, it uses about 40k memory according to the task manager, but over time it will slowly increase and after an hour or two, caps at using up 100k memory, which then slows down the speed of browsing.

Seems like the main page of tipit isn't working, but I bypassed it by going directly to the forum. Don't have to work today, gonna figure out how to properly mod dragon age today, AND THEN I'LL TAKE A POTATO CHIP, AND EAT IT. I mean play it.

So bought Dragon age ultimate edition on PC like I wanted tonight, and it won't work. Says it's missing critical files to install. :wall: OT (in a sub category of OT, who would have thought?): I use :wall: enough that I know what to type in to get it to pop up without having to look. Edit: after cleaning it off a little, it does say it can install now but is stuck pretty early into installation. I actually got the last copy, they keep the disc up front, and someone walked out with the box. I decided, meh the box is pretty but I am buying the game.

Tried to try out Vindictus last night, kicked me out of the game every time I tried to go to a dungeon. So good job Nexon, you may not have a good reputation, infact it's that you are one of the worst companies to host a game ever, but dammit you're keeping it up. Anyway I haven't bought any new games. Though I want to buy the PC version of dragon age sometime, it seems like it'd be so much more fun if I could mod it.

So I saw a movie at family video (rental store) called Mega Piranha. And Of course, I rented it, because it sounds like it'd be the kind of movie that's the funny type of bad. And of course, it was brilliant. It does seem to go on too long, but i'd recommend it actually, just because it's a ridiculous concept and hilarious. Don't buy it, it's not worth that much, and wait until it's off the new release shelf, because it's not worth the $5 I spent on renting it, but it's sure as hell worth $2 for a watch. Other than that, today was a boring day, cleaned up around the house mostly.

It's a place to actually have an intelligent discussion about topics, without people flaming you. By intelligent I don't mean a P.H.D level of education, but at least people who have an idea of what they're talking about. It's nice to lurk sometimes, adding in something if I feel like it. Also the OT people are a close-knit group, it's sort of like a family here, most people know each other, we're welcoming of newcomers, and accepting of different lifestyles, some people are gay, some are a different religion, some are athiest, and it's not "wrong". Even among the other OTers, We have disputes in threads, and are on the complete opposite side of the fence sometimes, but at the end of the day we don't hate each other just for being on the other side.

Make sure he isn't in combat, or it won't work. Also, your odds are much better if you are in a town, so send him to the arena and when the fight is over tell him to cancel. Also if it keeps loading a command and locks the button, the command already went through but the website hasn't updated, a simple refresh will fix that.
