Godville - ELITES = #1 Guild
He's got 300 arena wins. Each arena win nets a gold brick, and each gold brick is a +.1% to the temple completion. So no, he couldn't have done it with just fighting in the arena alone. Who knows, maybe he just converted it all to gold bricks almost everytime he got over 3k gold, and got really lucky with quest rewards.

*Laughs and strokes pet canary* They'll be back. My supreme overlordshipness will ensure total control. They'll be back. ... On a lighter note, I regret to inform Tip.It that my pet canary just nipped my fingers sharply and flew out of the open window. I've been gone for a few years, so no, no I won't be back.

CODE 406, QUARANTINE THIS MAN. Unlike most people that quit RS, I don't hate it. I found it fun at one time, and I stopped finding it fun, so I stopped playing it. Exactly my feelings, sorta. The current RuneScape is crap compared to the older RuneScape, but if it never changed I wouldn't of hate it. It was a damn fun game back in the day, what else is there to say? That sounds nothing like my feelings. I didn't stop finding it fun because Jagex changed, I did.

I used mine up a week ago, all in one day. My hero suddenly decided to get the crap beaten out of him over and over until near death, and then try to join another guild.

Game industry needs to set their eyes on the sky
Well i can agree that in this topic spesifically that people dislike the idea. And that's why you're called a kid, you can not admit that you're wrong. We're the weird ones for disliking the idea, because this is the holy grail of FPS games, obviously.

Care to explain what OOO is, and does? I would google it, but it's not getting me anywhere. http://www.oscurogamedesign.com/oscurosoblivionoverhaul-desc-high.html That's his website where you can read about it and download it. It is one of the biggest overhauls, with the other three that FCOM includes like someone else said. It adds new characters, races, npcs, 1000's of items, more quests, dungeon, spells.... the list goes on. It makes everything static, more balanced, and exciting. Also fixes almost every bug. It's basically amazing  The website says there's over 1 million dowloads just in north america alone. So it's just a compilation of a lot of mods then *hasn't read the website* So is it just a neat package for all the different mods, instead of having to search them all out, find out what you need to install those mods, install that, install the other mods, etc? Just shift you aim a little, all aim is off to the Right if you have it at right side, or left if you have it off to the left side. Oh no, sorry for the confusion. FCOM is a compilation of 4 huge mods, OOO being one of them and standing for the O. All the things I described in the last post are all in OOO, one mod made by one person. I believe I had FCOM downloaded but never got around to installing it.

Game industry needs to set their eyes on the sky
I am not grasping at air trying to make an argument. I am not the one using around 20 people as argument for dislike of such game. But you are right though, i don't think such game will be made yet, and it may not not be as the way i expect it to be. You can't see what i expect from such a flight game? Well you can look above and find the post with bold text. Read that  We have a lot more proof, due to the poll, that such a game wouldn't be liked, while you're just denouncing it saying the group is not amount polled is not large enough. Now what if that poll had been on your side, saying that this was the best idea most people had ever heard in their life, would it still be invalid because of not enough people? I somehow doubt it. But you have a point, you're not using around 20 people for proof that people would dislike a game, you're using 3 for proof that it would be awesome. Whose argument has more backing, the one using 15 people or the one using 9?

Game industry needs to set their eyes on the sky
I don't think studies demand as much as it actually needs. But with only less than 30 people voted, you can't say yet, according to your small group of 100-200, if it will be popular or not. I would demand at least 500 people myself, but my point is, with so many people in world, should be people who will like this kind of game. And there will be that odd few, but the majority won't. And, like it or not, it will not be made because of that. You're grasping at air trying to make an argument, and there isn't one to be made. The game will not be made, and if it is, it will not be anything like you expect it to be. I can't see what you're wanting, and I doubt others can either, that includes said people who would make this game.

Game industry needs to set their eyes on the sky
THIS is the sole reason why a Flight game will most likely not be made. It won't be popular, and they won't make money, which is a companies ultimate goal. Your poll already supports this, as do people's comments here. In world here is billions, people who have voted in poll is less than 30. So that's no way enough to conclude. But you say it won't be popular, what's your argument other than few polls voted and few people expressing dislike? Are you kidding me? Do you think studies ask everyone on earth to conclude if a certain percentage of people like something? They take a small group of maybe 100 or 200 people, and then amplify the results. Sure, not everyone in the world voted, but you'd get the same results, a majority of people don't think it'd be a good game. I see i'm crushing your dream here, because that's what you're holding on to. That's great that you really want a game like this, but unless you try to make a game like this, it will probably never happen.

The alternative Oblivion Magic System? Yeah, I tried that. It definitely is a pretty good mod, at least I remember liking it. After my finals this week and when I get home, I'll be playing Oblivion. Lots. And I'm going to try that again. Mine is cinematic camera mod, which basically took away first person view entirely and put in a pretty badass 3rd person view, but the reason why it wasn't an entirely basass mod is because it didn't replace the other third person view mod, and this could cause glitching if you're like me and switch from first person view to third often. I guess the camera was hard coded into the vanilla game and first person view wasn't, thus they could replace first person view. Its too bad, I would've used this mod otherwise. I had a camera mod, it replaced the 1st person view with a slightly over the shoulder view, a hybrid between the 3rd person view and the first person view, it threw all my aimming off a little, but I preserverd. Why would I bother with customizing my character if I was just gonna be in 1st person view all the time. This was it: [spoiler=picture] Except that's not my character, that's a SS from the nexus page on the mod

Deadly Reflex is awesome. Horse Combat, more fluid melee strikes (i.e. decapitations) and awesome animations. Definitely one to check out. Eagle eye is also an amazing mod, I love being an archer and a mage, always <3'd distance fighting more than anything else, that's why I use Midas magic. Fantastic if you want to be both. I just hope that there's is an improved combat spectrum in Skyrim, and I'm confident that this will happen with the new engine. Hopefully they'll actually have "radiant AI," I mean they have it but it is not as they had originally hyped it to be. OBMS (I believe that's the one.) has 4 different magic mods you need before you can install it, Midas magic being one. I had it installed but haven't played through oblivion as a mage. Honestly most of the time magic is so horribly underpowered that I would never want to use it, ever. I reloaded my computer since then and don't have oblivion installed now, but when I do reinstall it sometime, i'd like to play through it as a mage. I played through vanilla as a warrior, i'm sure that'd be much different now too. But I have a question, what's the worst mod you ever installed? Mine is realistic fatigue, sounded fine in the description, you need to manage your fatigue, as it goes down you tire, movements slow, and if it's low enough you can trip, add a little more realism to the game. Except the fatique bar never went down, so i'd just randomly trip if I was trying not to die, and wouldn't have any warning I would. and I do have a second worse one. The first time I went on the Nexus, in the showcased mods there was this vampireism mod, which turns out was a twilight based vampirism mod. I installed it, became a vampire, etc. There's only one thing it changed, any time the sun is out you got a status called "bright sun" which would put a 50000 gold bounty on your head so every guard in the entire city would want to kill you. And then when I tried to disable it, I couldn't or I would lose my save game. So I had to deal with it long enough to do the quest to cure my vampireism, only to find out that it didn't allow the cure to work. And then I used the developer console to get rid of it. NEVER FKING AGAIN. Also because FEZ doesn't allow you to say the word [bleep], ingame we use [bleep], i've noticed many places I started using [bleep] instead, lol.

Laptop <_< He still has a point. You haven't played an ES game if you haven't modded it. Mods really do make a game, especially with the various options that you have for the mods. I mean, Deadly Reflex is still one of my favorite mods alongside Unnecessary Violence in Oblivion. Incredible mods especially since the newest version of Deadly Reflex just came out with horse combat. Then theres the minimap hud element. Point is, there is plenty of talent out there that can enhance the game. I really do wish I could post the pictures of the GI magazine when they come out, but I know thats against copyright law, but I did hear that GI will have its own dedicated Skyrim galleries and its own page on their site, which I will post there and, of course, link the site. Bethesda should release some things soon, though. I'm expecting something after this week, and if not then, then January. I just want to see what this new engine can do, to be honest. And I will mention that 1000x over until they release pictures. :P Deadly reflex? I don't believe I heard of that one. Besides all natural (so pretty) my favorite mod would have have to been eagle eye, the game is tailored to the melee class, most games are, eagle eye actually makes archery worth a damn. I actually didn't wear armor in battle, I wore my enchanted clothes and always got in a sneak attack, most things were 1 hit kills. (enchanted being I boosted the [bleep] out of my marksman and sneak.)

Philosophy, Riddles and complete mind[bleep]s
No. If nothing can be impossible, then impossibility isn't possible, therefore not anything can be possible. A paradox. Mind blowing to the two people in the world who've never heard it before. No, sure, if everything is possible, then it is true that it is not possible for anything to be impossible, but not everything is impossible. It does not a paradox make.

Game industry needs to set their eyes on the sky
Call of duty was just example of what things the flight game can use, such as map. As far as i know there is no mirror to show whats behind you on Call of duty. If your gonna make a game, you should be innovative. Now i am not the person who¨s gonna make a flight game, but that¨s what i hope the developers of such game would be...INNOVATIVE. They should take aspects of classic Flight games and new aspects. It¨s unfortunated that so few people share my hope of a good multiplayer Flight game. And i am not a major call of duty fan. But the game is great. I don¨t need you to tell me to play Call of duty, i am already, but a Flight game might be more appealing... So i'm going to say this once, and hopefully you'll be able to answer me on this, so here I go. *clears throat* What?

No, it's because more people are more likely to drawn attention, that and if you outran the cops, but someone in your group was caught they can easily crack under pressure and the promises of leniency. Not true, I can guarantee you most of those places put fake equipment in most of the places, and store employees can't do anything anyway. It's more about what you steal. [/hide] Hey, man, just trying to help. Like I said, I've only ever stolen one thing. You guys should have been at walmart when I first moved up to KC. There security thing was broken and went off on everyone, so they didn't question you. But I am not a shoplifter so I never stole anything.

Game industry needs to set their eyes on the sky
i think it could be quite good if you ask me. Here are some thoughts that hit me for such game; - At top left corner can be map & mirror. Mirror to use when someone will shoot a rocket towards you. - At this point you can then use flares or distracting manuvers. Against bullets you can do a manuver to avoid em. - Rockets can be limited - Guns not limited, but takes time to kill a enemy with it. - When you kill a enemy you get supplied with two more rockets once again I see great potential in such a game. It just needs to be done right. Is it going to be in 3 dimensions? because if it's just a flat plane that you can move around on, then it'd be just like any shooter, and having it "flying" would be useless. Most games have a minimap, that's nothing new, and neither is a mirror so you can see behind you. You don't sound like you want anything different from CoD, you only want more of the same. Just play CoD and be happy with it, that's what you really want.

I have a ps3, but on games like this I like the ability to mod it. A modded oblivion was a completely different game from vanilla, I expect skyrim would be the same.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
I also want to add a few things. After playing through the PC version a bit, it feels more complete than the PS3 version, I don't know about the 360 version though. The enemies difficulties have been modified (remember i'm not using a mod for that) so that the regular enemies are more beatable and the bosses are stronger than they were. Magic is all around more useful than it was on the PS3 version, I just got passed the fade on the PC version, the forms seemed to be weaker, i'm assuming that's because i'm a mage, I suck at physical attack, so they suck at physical attack. It runs more smoothly on my computer, the interface is much easier to use, with more slots to put items on the command bar (6 on PS3 to 14 on PC), and the minimap is more useful in and out of combat. Basically the PC version seems to have loads more polish and seems more the complete version because of it.
