I liked oblivion, didn't play morrowind, I just think the trailer didn't show very much improvement, the graphics look normal, the little gameplay it showed didn't look like it improved any, and most of the "game" it showed was cutscenes, or appeared to be cutscenes. The trailer did not impress me.

This seems to apply well here, really you guys are getting way too hyped over a trailer that didn't show anything. Atleast with the oblivion trailer you got an idea of what the story was. So unless the story is "go kill dragons lul" it didn't show much about the game.

Dragons are a common enemy in Skyrim, essentially most of them will probably just fly around and when they see you (Or whatever they want to [bleep] up.) They will attack. Hopefully they are as epic as this one. Here is a gif if anyone want's it. As a subscriber to Game Informer I have read that Dragons will be immensely fierce and will show up at random to destroy towns, and you of course. Your character being a Dragonborn, allows you to speak the language of the dragons. One power actually allows you to say the true name of a legendary dragon, in turn, calling him forth to fight by your side. The graphics look amazing, the story is gonna be jam packed with action and suspense. Along with the occasional humor. The Elder Scrolls has been story driven from day 1. A new engine is going to allow them to do some interesting stuff with the landscape and weather effects. Now you can even dual wield weapons/spells, along with change your hand equips on the fly. A new menu system is gonna blow your pants off, and the perks are now pick-able much like in Fallout and New Vegas. I seriously can't wait until this hits stores. Yay no night classes, which means I get to stay home and feel like crap.

Well I say they're FFVIII'ing us. Showing a bunch of cutscenes to show us how good the game will look and how epic it is. And it looks like oblivion. Keep in mind, they have the money to buy a computer to run the game at optimal performance. But maybe that's just my modded as hell game talking. All natural, better cities, ambient dungeons, I haven't actually looked at vanilla in awhile.

Is that it? The combat looks exactly like oblivion, they're still going with the 1st person view, I liked the U3PC much better, the graphics don't look like much of an improvement and, well it's TES, you don't play them for their story. We saw like 5 enemies, 1 of which i'm sure is a boss (dat dragon). and we didn't really see any gameplay. It was cutscenes, or people walking in town. As long as it can be modded I will still get the game but the trailer was very disappointing.

Try refreshing, and only have 1 tab open. If you have 3 tabs trying to load at the same time it only slows you down. The page is still loading but for the most part it's done. Edit: I don't quite think the video is buffering but i'm afraid to refresh... Edit2: and it went down.

There we go, it's buffering. If you don't have a video by now, try refreshing. and yes it is a long loading time. Edit: I tried in firefox and it got to that, and then went back to chrome. Chrome loads faster so it'd be the better option. The page isn't fully loaded yet and I don't have how long the video is yet.

That's crap, if they put out a countdown before the trailer was released, they should have damn well been ready when the timer hit zero. Edit: They got it back up, they had to update the site i'm guessing, but that should have been done the second it hit zero instead of making us wait 10 minutes. And it's still loading.

My hero lost his pet a few weeks ago and still hasn't replaced him, but he's gotten rid of the body so there isn't any hope of reviving the old one.

I bought membership yesterday. :unsure: I don't plan on buying a membership at all, ever again. Thats what separates me from all you guys, you left because Jagex got rid of the wild/free trade, I left because I had done everything in the game, I felt I had beaten runescape and mastered the game, not because Jagex pissed me off. Actually no. I did not leave because Jagex pissed me off. I left because I got bored of RS and probably will get bored of it again soon. And that's what separates me from you, I don't go off judging people on a whim. :thumbup: Jagex did something that pissed off a lot of people and drove them to quit, and then you say you have gone back when they happened to revert it. And then you're on me because I didn't see the deeper meaning in why you left in the first place? I really doubt I was wrong, you just need to have a reason that isn't "the wildy is back and the game is going to be like old times again."

Woot, shower is now fixed. But they had to rip into my wall, and replace the pipes pretty much, and then put my wall back together. So I need to wait until the stuff they used to seal it is try until I can actually take a shower, which is gonna be a few hours. So i'm looking at not being able to take a shower until tomorrow pretty much. :(

I actually tried Skittles the other day... had to break a ten for vending machine soda and decided to give them a go. I prefer Mike and Ike, but these are worth having again some time. Plus they saved me passing out at school, which is good. I personally prefer sour skittles but original is nice sometime.

Yeah the first time in Oblivion it can get hard, since you don't have you skills developed. You'll get used to it though and then be killing dozens of scamps per gate. Eventually you'll be like "WHY ISNT THERE ANYTHING STRONGER HERE?!?!"

You obviously have not seen the mods there are. You can find mods to change the entire combat system of oblivion, this could be done with a mod. v Those mods took quite a while before they came to light. Deadly Reflex 6 was the most recent overhaul. Streamline, unnecessary violence, etc. They took a while, and the same applies to any future mods that would require heavy scripting and the like of that. Can't wait for the game and the mod kit which will probably downloadable soon after. I said it could be done, and it probably can.

My shower broke, on Saturday actually. The landlord is only on the office on the weekdays, it's been 3 days without a shower. :thumbdown: That's a day later than usual. Looking back, how did I go for weeks without showers as a little kid?

Are you in 8th grade or something? My suitemate with a natural sciences major did that earlier this year, so it's not just something middle schoolers/high schoolers do. Weird. The only things at my school that the bio students dissect are fish and baby pigs. In High school Anatomy we dissected a dead cat. And me and my lab partner being the immature people that we were, immature jokes flew around every class period. Not saying they were the same jokes, we thought of new ones every class. I came up with a really awesome joke that we both agreed to save for the day we were done with them, and then we both forgot it.

We don't change much. Mostly it's the same people in OT, we don't get many newbies here.

Apparently once you get up to the max level and can do high level raids it's supposed to be really fun, but the problem is you have to get there. And i'm not comfortable with paying for a game I don't enjoy for months just so I can squeeze the little amount of fun out of it when I get to the max level.

Even if they did do that, it'll only be bandits.
