  1. God does it because he respects your decision. He's not punishing you, YOU are punishing you by choosing "no thanks." He respects your free will, so YOU choose by your own free will to go. He wants to be with you, but, he's not calling the shots, you are. If someone doesn't want to be with him then there is only one other place you can go, which is hell. It's either Heaven (being totally with God) or Hell (being totally without God). There is no "middle ground." Like I said. The actual punishment is the absence of God. So are you saying there is no fire or torture? If so then hell seems fun, I mean if its just the abscense of god I think I can live with that; all the atheists in the world don't seem to be writhing in pain. You do the exact same thing in Hell as in Heaven. The only difference is that in Heaven you are happy and willing to do it and in Hell you are sad and angry about having to do it. And it works, so don't question it. God tells you you can enter heaven and live in eternal joy and bliss, you just have to ask. It's not hard to ask, so any little sin you don't pray for deserves a large scale punishment, although the punishment is not really a punishment rather just not a reward. Everyone has there own mind and it's wrong to say they'll all think the same way. Heaven or hell if you don't want to do something you won't like it.
  2. I had a weird dream last night. I had a jet powered flying vehicle ( don't remember exactly what it was, just that it was jet powered and flew). There was a giant octopus monster in the middle of the city and he threw four medieval style towers at me. I had to go through each of the towers breaking a seal on each. To break the seal I had to go down to the very bottom of the tower after entering from the top and go to this pure white room with a large shallow pool in the middle. There I met some girl who was one of my enemies in the dream and she helped me break the first seal, then I woke up. I don't remember having that dream before but I felt like I have.

    Nope.
  4. To some people marriage is MORE than just a piece of paper. Sorry if I wasn't being clear enough. I was meaning it's not a religious ceremony, but a legal one. Yes, it is a legal ceremony. Just as in some religions it is also religious ceremony. And I'd find it hard to believe that there aren't religious homosexuals. The whole "god hates homosexuals" thing probably turns them off... I think that might be an over-exaggeration caused by conflict between over zealous parishioners and gay rights activists. The whole "man and women only! you're going to hell obviously!" and "you're a church so your God hates us obviously!" thing. I just think both sides got a little too aggressive. But, I think I'm getting off-topic so.... yeah. :-w Or are these discussions allowed in this thread? The OP wasn't really clear on that... You haven't been on TIF very long have you. We can start a discussion about cuss words and end up at video games. The mods have just gotten used to it I think.

Yeah thay'd be great to play through. I'd get HG/SS if I had the system for old times sake.

  8. Marriage is just a slip of paper. It doesn't even have to be in a church or have a priest present.
  9. rocco what makes you think you can get a gun that early. Everyone will be thinking the same thing, to get a gun and as much ammo as they can. So if you can beat them all there and fight them all off while trying to keep the zombies at bay then take your guns. But i'd be best to get a makeshift weapon, make your way out of town, then after a few weeks go to restock and take the guns provided there are any left.
  10. We can't say myths are completely untrue if we are debating god. They are just the older theories of it with little knowledge of how the world works. Myths/religions are a tool to explain the world around you, that's all. I've said before the actual god debate isn't if something came first, as something had to. It's if that thing has consciousness.

    Doom?
  12. Congratulations. I'm on Yiazmat right now and i'm taking my time. (that's a lie, his defense is killing me and it's taking me awhile to burn through it) I'll have it done soon since I have him a little under halfway. I should try doing him in one run though. Too bad he's not like the hell wyrm who was very generous with his invert attack and gave me mp when I needed it. So basically nothing new with Yiazmat. Still hard to beat, still uses cyclone, still kills a fully bubbled character within five attacks :wall: Oh and I have a spare dragon whisker if you need one.
  13. About 6m in cash, easily over 100m in items.
  14. Only a level 76 hp message when I decided to kill that imp that was walking around. \ That will teach him to walk around minding his own business.

I don't like FPS that much. mainly RPGs. Its just no one here plays the new pokemon. Pokemon red ftw
  16. In the middle of the city they'd be constantly at your door, drawn to the smell. You'll have to restock sometime. Here's an idea though. Flies are drawn to rotting meat and lay eggs, so will the maggots eat the zombie little by little? does that mean we'll have zombie flies flying around? :ohnoes:

Same here! Woohoo for shedding another layer of ignorance \ Who cares, it's canada. \

Today I learned there was a Canada day :o Woke up at 8:30, was out for most of the day. My sister moves tomorrow \. Took a shower today. Not really anything exciting happened.
  19. Zombies can walk along the bottom. So they suddenly have weights attached to their feet? A normal human can't even walk along the bottom, and with any sort of decay/bloating with gases after death a zombie is only going to get less dense. It will float, and probably not swim. Actually I think normal people don't float because they have oxygenated blood? Or maybe I'm an idiot? But I think the ZSG mentions zombies walking along the bottom. Well, a normal corpse will still float, I think. They get real bloated with gas under water. I don't know how zombification will effect that, if it will, but even if the zombie desn't float, it probably won't be able to physically walk along the bottom of the ocean. In deep water, there's the pressure issue, as well as current (does current exist at the bottom?). Not like the zombie suddenly has lead boots to walk along. Plus, even if they can, so what? If they're unintelligent, they won't have any desire to. They'll lose the scent underwater, especially at the bottom of the ocean, no matter what.Escaped prisoners used to run across rivers and streams so that chasing dogs would lose the scent. I think that was disproved on Mythbusters, but only for a small stream. So the zombie would then be underwater, lost, and fishfood. Then we might get zombie fish, but that's an entirely different issue. Humans bloat because of bacteria that are eating the body putting off gas, zombies will sink to the point a human body would naturally. Of course, water currents will probably kill a zombie quicker as the loose flesh will be washed away exposing the muscles and other important parts. Also, there is nearly 0 current at the very bottom of deep parts of the ocean, but at that point the zombie would be crushed to nothing a few times over. [/hide] The problem here being that zombies repel bacteria (right?) so they wouldn't bloat and they technically could walk on the bottom of a river or lake... zombies will be light (like normal humans) so unless they have something weighing them down they would float. A combination of pressure and current would destroy them before they got there though. Other than that they would lose the scent and have nothing to follow. So even if zombies can survive in water there are low chances they'd reach you.
  20. Em question, what does a headache feel like? I don't think I ever had one. What the hell. Its when your head hurts. Lies, you have to have had one. I never had a headache till I was like 6. It was because of a brain tumor but it's probably possible normally.
  21. That is not any kind of "proof". These ghosts were supposed to be NPCs not minimap icons. There were supposed to be off in the distance on HD mode.
  22. Cloud does Meteor shots, it's also his last limit break before omnislash I believe. Phoenix downs give you the auto life ability (I got real familiar with them during the Minerva fight). As for Angeal, regular attacks to his side and just dodge well and heal. And that's side, not back. He has a special attack for you if you go around to his back. The first time I fought him I had to train too. Right now i'm letting my secondary party train up (too lazy to do it myself). I think 30-50 should be good enough. Today I fight Yiazmat, then I go after the last two espers I need, finish the sky pirates den and Finish the ingame bestiary, oh and obliterate Vanye because he is going to be really easy. Beat the hell wyrm yesterday. Annoying but manageable, like always.
