  1. You can buy raw chicken en masse from the canifis meat store without any competition :-$
  2. Haha, if playing a game for a year or two is your biggest regret in life, then I'd really swap places with you. Stop being so melodramatic, go and enjoy college instead.
  3. CEO= Chief executive officer For all of you that don't know.
  4. The last truly awful update I can think of was fatigue/sleeping in rsc, along with soft and hard rocks.
  5. How many guard dogs, white wolves, etc. have you killed in RS? A lot. And now you're going ape[cabbage] over people shooing dogs away? You've got to realize that this is just a game, those stray dogs won't go and cry in a corner after you shoo them away, they're NPC's for god's sake. All of you whiners have to stop being drama queens, and if you really care about dogs, go and volunteer at your local animal shelter.
  6. Finally someone that does have some insight into the "economy", and doesn't make a post shouting about "inflation". Goog going. However, I still think that getting into heated arguments about the rs economy is pretty pointless, seeing how it's driven by supply and demand, with barely any other factors, unlike IRL.
  7. Here's a post I made in an identical thread to this yesterday, it applies pretty well: There is NO inflation in runescape. It isn't a real economy, which is why more money in-game doesn't make higher prices. I'm getting tired of people going nuts over an upcoming "apocalypse" or "market crash". There won't be one. And please, for the love of god, shut up about the "economy" if you have no idea what you're talking about.

  9. I bought a disk of return for 80K, back when they were about 500K. I still have it :)
  10. I think you're overanalyzing the "economy". The only relation between rare prices and skilling is that people sell rares to get money for leveling skill x or y. Also, no offence, but I think your post lacked a proper conclusion. (meaning, it really didn't go anywhere)
  11. I just reported about 7 autoers in catherby, all of them were fishing. Some had up to lvl93 fishing too...
  12. I usually watch a movie or tv while playing, while chatting with friends on MSN and hanging out on IRC. Multitasking keeps me busy so I don't have time to get bored :)
  13. Gl with 99 fm. I'll be leveling fm pretty soon, got any pointers for me? As in any good places to be, and all that. I'd appreciate it :)
  14. Except this thread is about actual gp, and not items, but hey.
  15. Well guess what? The "old" rares weren't worth much for years either. You're not making a very good point here. Also, there's x players right now, but you never know how many there will be in 2 years, most of whom will only have the option to buy these rares.
  16. I don't think you mean what you just typed in the title. Look up commercialization in a dictionary mate. Other than that, having high levels comes with needing more money, so I don't really see your point either.
  17. I made a mistake like that yesterday, and gave a guy 640K instead of 64. Sadly, he isn't as honest as you are, and refused to return my money. I didn't report him though because it was my mistake, although it's really frustrating.
  18. Sorry to burst your bubble mate, but merchanting has always been around. Now that there are a lot more items in rs2 it has grown proportionally, but saying that it "ruins the economy" is totally illogical. All free economies, like runescape's are controlled by supply/demand. I also think that most people spend money on skills and items instead of hoarding it, so there's no reason to get all panicky about this at all.
