simple question really, how should i fight them? Mages would be strong against melee armour i thought so i tried range outfit (green d hide :-X i hate range) and they hit me for tons and fighting a mage with mage stuff is just a waste of runes really. So, how do you kill them and what do you wear?

i thought so too, my biggest kill count prior was 20 but then someone down there was getting a kill count of 1k so i thought i'd try and increase mine quite a bit as an experiment (70 is odd but i ran out of food lol)

you'll do it easily, just take around 6 to 7 prayer pot (4) just in case on your first trip. and use that barrows guide for lower levels, i do :D

Does anyone know what each of the individual monsters acuse to be in the chest? (e.g do blood worms make blood runes be in the chest) i got my first barrows drop the other day (guth helm :D) and i had a kill count of 16 and killed: 6 bros 1 skele 1 giant rat 4 blood worms 4 crypt rats got some bloods etc as well i thought i'd try again killing the same things, no luck so i increased my kill count a bit and got tons more runes (gained over 600k in bloods deaths and chaos) and it seemed that i the more i killed the more runes i got so i decided last time to get a bigger kill count (70 which is alot compared to 16) However, with this amount i got 80 bloods, 100 chaos and 886 coins where i'd been getting 100 bloods, 150 deaths etc before the only thing i changed (other than kill count) was kill giant spiders and crypt spiders (i never got round them before, i usually find the chest room door pretty much straight away) so, my question (once again): Does anyone know if the type of monsters killed affects the reward and if so which ones increase the rates of each type of runes (etc)? What kill count has been the best for you (in terms of barrows items primarily and then bloods, deaths)? Which monsters would you recommend to kill the most to get the best barrows/rune drops? Thanks for any information you can give and i'm up for barrowing with anyone pretty much any time if someone wants someone to do it with :D

no, you have to carry on around the back of the city adjacent to the island until you come to a cave then go into it and you will go up a ladder on the island. i would advise you take weapons, anti-poison, armour because you tend to have to fight a sara mage from digging there

i got my entire set of defenders (bronze-rune) in about 400-500 tokens all in under a couple of hours. i thne lost my rune one in the wildy ( :x ) so thought i'd go back and get another. took me 300 tokens to get my rune one back but since then they've been coming thick and fast. i;ve been training on the cyclopes hoping to get clue scrolls (lvl 3's :wink: ) and had about 4 clue scrolls now and i just keep getting defenders (check sig :wink: )

Where did you see that? I messaged them asking about possibilities of work and i haven't heard anyhting back yet

no he can't, being balanced means you are equally good and evil, not that you can tip the scales whenever you want. nice investigation dude, definately interesting and i'd never thought about it before

can anyone say dragon slayer part 2? you have to solo the kbd but a lvl 890 one or something ridiculous :P nah, i don't think they will release them (i wouldn;t be able to afford them even if they did (i'm so poor. most i ever had was 1.3 mil then managed to lose that in the most blatent of lures and my character doing that stupid backwards running thing)). if they're going to release more armour i'd rather it be different kinds to make things more interesting.

best thing to do is to get alcohol 120% (or similar) and use the anti-protection settings on that and mount a copy of the disk on the virtual drive (this is not illegal at all, you are just making a back-up copy of your game for your own use)

get firefox and avast anti-virus (best free anti-virus, industry level but free for home use, you have to register but it's no cost (http://www.avast.com)) if you can get hold of an old copy of sygate personal firewall (now owned by norton so has inevitably gone downhill) and understand enough about firewalls to make use of all the features and can set it up that's the best set-up.
