  1. A high level.....with manners?! Seriously, just quit with this [cabbage]. Don't think we can't see that you're purposely trying to emphasise any little post that supports you even though your argument has been ripped apart hundreds of times, and the majority disagrees with your point completely. You're exactly right  (no joke) But just because it's the majority doesn't make it right, like if the majority says abortion is wrong, I'll still argue because I believe in choice.
  2. afking is against the ROOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, but eh. I'd suggest fire strike, cast it in a secluded place with no else else, safe spotting with full metal armor.
  3. I did! I also tried opening it, using the direct pick lock option, and using a hair clip.
  4. WTF is going on?!
  5. Death to the Dorgeshuun, which I just did....
  6. I have 54 thieving, made sure I was doing average chests, had 3 lockpicks and a hair clip in inventory. When I try to pick chests it says "You attempt to pick the lock. You need a lockpick to pick this lock." ARGH what's going on?!
  7. A high level.....with manners?!
  8. What exactly is the chance of the set effect happening in any given hit?
  9. Low levels don't "own" the spot, they actually know of this superb new concept. It's pretty new, weird, but it's pretty cool. High levels might pick it up sometime. It's called common courtesy, first come first serve, and manners. Before I go any farther, I'm going to say that I see I will not win this argument.

How are they expected to train if they're warned not to go anywhere?

I like debate, I like the rants forum. My problem, not yours. And what do you mean by keeps low levels in a certain area?
  12. Nomrombom posted a topic in Rants
I know that the doors leading into/out of cities are no big deal and don't affect running time that much. But really, what was the point of it? What benefit is there? Was there some obscure running method I don't know about that they nerfed? Or was it just for decoration. They're minor annoyances, but still....
  13. Splashing secluded monsters with air strike is decent.
  14. Mmm. I see. First post that was critical that actually made sense to me <3:
  15. You idiot, I actually stated that I wouldn't report anyone even if I thought they were AFK.
  16. i care what you said, plawks post moar
  17. I never said I cared, I never said I reported people for this, I never said I don't AFK. I'm just pointing out that it IS a rule that COULD be reported by some idiot. Saru, I myself call people noobs, I swear a decent amount, I AFK myself, etc. In the last year, the only reports I have made were a few at green drags with blatantly obvious bots, and one against someone who was talking incessantly about "potty" stuff, whom I asked over ten time to stop as well as a clan chat mod asking him to stop as well. And while I think that what you do for "AFK", Saru, is completely fine, I'm just letting people know the possible danger of it. One other thing, I only report people for botting when they don't respond to public, they don't respond to trade, don't respond to private, and act in a jerky/unnatural way that a player would not. I am not a wannabe mod.
  18. Wrong. The basis is higher levels are honestly entitled to more. They worked harder. The fact is, what's the point in getting better armour, better weapons, better overall gear, better food, and all that good stuff, if you can just use like Rune and Dragon scim to kill stuff? The point of higher-tier gear IS to be able to deal more damage and therefore beat people out of your spot/their spot. No, they are not. They DID NOT "work harder" than I or anyone else did. Maybe they've been playing for 10 years and have combat 115. Maybe I've been playing 2 years and have higher total level and combat 95. They didn't work harder, they simply played longer.
  19. AFK'ing IS A REPORTABLE OFFENCE. Quoted directly from the Runescape Website: "6. What is AFK training? AFK training is Away From Keyboard training. While you are playing on our games, you must be at the computer. Away-from-keyboard training is not allowed, and you should log out when you leave the computer." So there it is. Walking away from your computer after you click on a fishing spot IS a reportable offence, under macroing/bots/rule 1 of Honour. You CAN be reported for it. Now, does this mean you will be? No. Does this mean Jagex will ban you for AFK'ing? No. Does this mean anyone cares if you AFK? No. BUT; don't go saying it's a legitimate strategy or thing to do. Of course, I sometimes do look at other tabs on my computer while I play. I don't know if that constitutes AFK, but meh. Just wanted to get it out there: AFK'ING IS A REPORTABLE/BANNABLE OFFENCE. :^_^:
  20. Note the quotation marks around bully. AND OH MY GOD THE US JUST TIED. GOD DAMN IT. Anyway, just because they have higher levels doesn't mean they have the right to barge into someone else's training. And by them doing that, they make the game less fun for both me and them as I'm stealing some of their kills, they're stealing mine, and we're both insulting each other. And sure, I could hop too, but the point is I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. That's the job of the person who got there late.
  21. Don't even try to get the natures yourself. With non members, it's going to be so slow that mining coal would produce more natures per hour. Do the best moneymaker you have and buy from GE.
  22. HP Compaq CQ61 - new, preinstalled Win7 Home Premium. Even at highest custom building, costs no more than 700$. It's very fast, has a 15.6 inch screen diagonal, and full size keyboard. The touchpad lets you tap it to click, and a little touch piece to scroll. Really good overall, posted this from my own.
  23. Every time you remove furniture you get the little "really remove it?" thing. IT'S SO [bleep]ING ANNOYING. Is there any way to shut it off?
  24. Nomrombom replied to LatinII's topic in Rants
Better than doing nothing. If that wouldn't work, I'd just ban players in merch clans. So simple, so effective. Sure, some people would be pissed, but a lot of others would <3 Jamflex. It would also stabilize the economy.
