  1. But OP.... surely at your maxed stats you can use ancients and godswords/dragon claws to great effect?
  2. You don't. Unless you have a high level clan, or watch the portals to see which team is going to win, there's no way to tell. In general, I would pick Zamorak though. They generally win... <_<

Um Isn't the point of agreeing with something to agree with most all of what it is? No one says "oh i think mac is better even though i don't agree with the arguments proving that it's better." (NOTE: I hate macs. PC FTW.)
  4. True, but it's nice to be able to just look at your stats rather than calculate the number in your head if you want to know exactly what you've prayed your level to.
  5. First take bonus of prayer and add to level. Then add pot bonus. Simple. Nope, you actually add pot bonus first. Okay. Can anyone find ANY drawbacks?

At first I agreed sort of with this post, but then once I saw the pictures.... What's wrong with house? Yes, it's a bit colorful...is that it? If so, you must go blind when you go outside. Skillcapes: Who cares. It's barely a difference, and you'll get over it and used to it within a couple weeks. Much ado about nothing, although I agree Jagex could have been a bit more careful with bug fixing :-|
  7. A self player? What the hell did he mean? He's also a douchebag who didn't read all the posts, just commented based on the OP I posted over a week ago... =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
  8. Pretty much. Whichever team has the high leveled veterans of cwars always wins. That and the high leveled ancient mages. I would also not let people from a team carry their own flag...pick it up and it goes back to the base. Ruins the game. But yeah, ticket acquisition needs to increase in speed
  9. First take bonus of prayer and add to level. Then add pot bonus. Simple.
  10. Finally there is another use for high level prayer training
  11. I don't generally rant about pures, I keep my ideas to myself on them most of the time. Just spilled out there. Dislike, but they're not the worst people in RS by a longshot.
  12. i don't have any art or complicated ideas here, just a simple thing that would be beneficial to everyone and I can't see why it would be bad in any way.... If, when you activate a prayer, the skill on the skill tab SHOWS the bonus you are receiving. It would act just like it does when you drink a pot, only with prayers. For instance, if using the second tier attack prayer with 70 attack (10% bonus from prayer let's say) then the skill tab shows your skill as being 77/70. Unless I am mistaken in thinking that the prayers affect the stat level instead of the chance to use the effect, then this would be a useful update. It's very simple to code in, and doesn't have any bad side so far as I can see. Correct me if I'm wrong :^_^:
  13. Strength is looked down upon a bit, just because SO FREAKING MANY PURES invade the game and get 99 str with 60 attack and 20 defence so they can duel people with 70 in all 3, with the balanced player easily killing monsters but not pking, and the pure pking easily but can't kill monsters for [cabbage]. (rant on pures over) All other CB capes are generally well regarded, especially magic and HP as magic is very costly and HP just takes a longer time.
  14. Thread has certainly gone off on a tangent since I last saw  Um.... Well, I got off my lazy [wagon] and finally finished the quests needed for DT, got 70 mage, and then did it. A lot easier than I thought it would be, in fact, it's probably not even in the top 10 hardest quests. Spent a large amount of money on deaths and chaos runes, went over to Cwars, and played a few games by spamming ice burst until I was out of runes. It's a lot of fun, but people (of course) referred to me as "that damned ancient farcaster." I agreed with them and told them I knew what I was doing was pretty annoying, but I did it anyway. Luckily for them, it costs over a thousand GP per cast  even with a water staff. Not gonna be spamming thousands of those any time soon... Also, I consider Dung. a minigame. Not only does it use the currency system of minigames, but it also trains like a minigame. No other skill incorporates other skills as REQUIREMENTS into itself. Except HP I guess, which is an entirely different thing.
  15. You're right qeltar, but in the end, no one could give a [bleep] less if they're making 200k less per hour. The effort required is much higher. Plus DIY instead of using opportunity cost is a lot more fun and a lot less grindy.
  16. Unlimited stock always caused major inflation and and price fluctuations for the items that were of any use. Buy for cheap from store, sell higher on street or forums or GE. Eventually supply is way too high from everyone doing so, and prices crashes. Repeat.
  17. Its also probably a good idea to save up tokens for battle robe pieces (specifically the robe-bottom, which costs 1000 tokens), the price has gone up 666% in half a year. Thats because the street price is like 15mil due to the sheer money-saving power of a full-set combined with a staff of light (plus with the update to recharge costs, real easy to fix up when they degrade). Actually, the most token efficient item to buy is adamant berserker shields, but no one buys them so rune gaunts are next best and F2Pers buy them all the time. Battle robes are actually not very token efficient. (token efficient = high gp gained per token)
  18. Other players are hindering themselves in a way that very few people care about and those players tend to calculate every single xp they get i saport
  19. Spirit spider or whatever it is, use the scrolls and creates some red spider eggs for you to pick up. They sell for about 400 gp on the GE each, buy pouches for like 850, scroll about 65, and you make a profit with only 3 eggs made. Make more and the profit is higher. Go yonder, padawan, and train your summoning with a profit.
  20. Lol you're ri- no. Unless you ask the person directly, you have no proof that they didn't cut all the logs themselves and make their own bowstrings and their own runes and alch the bows. 99 fletching could take more effort than smithing potentially. Besides, if they don't go around shouting LOL LUK AT MEH I HAZ LEET SKEELCAHPS LO LOLOL OLOLOLOL, then you have no reason to disrespect them. Additionally, the stats of the skillcape are very enticing as only one cape is as good as they are statistically, and it is hard to get - the fire cape. Is the ONLY cape in the entire game that surpasses achievement capes, and the obsidian only ties the untrimmed skillcape, being lesser than the trimmed as it doesn't have the +4 prayer bonus. It's easier and more lucrative to get a skillcape than a fire cape, so why not... only 99k as opposed to the potions and weapons and armor repairs for TzTokJad. :^_^:

Range guild definitely needs an update. In fact, ALL guilds could use an update. Weapons and armor and new quests are simply FAR outstripping the uses of most guilds, especially the range guild, and possibly the mage guild. And plenty of skills don't even HAVE a guild... I'd call for a big guild redo and make them more useful than they are right now.
  22. Keldagrim, as the quest and skill requirements are fairly tough. Still gonna be camped though.
  23. Does barrow's armor degrade like usual in FoG? I assume it does, but just wondering...
  24. Nomrombom replied to polo2340's topic in Rants
Can we stop quoting once it gets to eight different quotes? I'd venture to say that once you've done the "necessity" (note the quotation marks) quests, such as DT, Monkey Madness, RFD, AAFR, etc. the fun massive world omg lololol bbqsauce this game is so deep and adventure filled feeling depletes somewhat. And even then, RS is still fun and addictive anyway, so who cares? <3:
  25. Just checking...The ACTUAL point of the profile lag time is so you can't just hop worlds in five seconds and mine rune ores and stuff like that?
