  1. I like this rant. Just got back into RS after being off for over a year. F2P sucks [bleep] when you've had members and gotten used to being able to use member transports, member spells, member weapons, etc. I've been degraded to chopping willows :( I have to get a money card. Soon.
  2. Hello, Tip. It. I have returned. Anyway, as you most likely don't remember, I switched between woodcutting, hunter, cooking, firemaking, and fishing. Then I stopped playing for a while... lost membership. I've recently started playing again. I'm currently in F2P Draynor chopping willows. I just got 73 WCing. I still have a bunch of stuff in my bank from members, stuff like drag boots, glory ammy, drag scim and ddp, etc. Stats in sig. I have 3.3 mil to blow. Plus items. It'd be nice to keep something like 300k of that, but I'll do whatever if it'll get me a 99. WCing is profitable...so is fishing...and hunter, which also helps range with chinches. FM and cooking? Not so much. What do? Edit: I'm currently getting mems. Might not have it for a few days, but will eventually...
  3. Damn, Wolfie. That's awesome.
  4. Get the books. The quest is really easy and the boss is laughable. Guthix book costs the least to fill, I think, but Zamorak is the best by far. You really should get a book or multiple.
  5. I agree with all the quests Meta suggested except the Lunar ones. They're kind of... crappy.. for the amount of work to do the quests. Definitely do Fremmy Trials and Isles. They are both easy, and I'd actually say Trials is longer. Neitz helm has very good stats and is very cheap. Sell the dmed. Use a whip with rune defender, Dscim for strength training, and DDP for specs. Keep the Torag plate unless you have money for Bandos. Replace rune boots with dragon. Get RFD gloves unless you have money for Regen bracelet. Get a Fury, it IS WORTH IT.
  6. Change the boots to ranger or snakeskin. Use an accumulator, or if you have one (I'm too lazy to check :) ) a skillcape. I would suggest bringing about 200 diamonds. You REALLY don't want to run out and die. They don't cost too too much, so just buy about another hundred. I have no idea what you should do for potions, sorry. ;) Gah, half of this has been suggested...
  7. Burn them. If you want no annoyance of dropping AT ALL, then sell them. I suggest fm though, you can level two skills at once and it solves your dilemma.
  8. The first reply has the correct answer. Except Corrupt dragon. But that takes a while to get and is of more use by selling it and skilling with the money. Other than that, I suggest getting the berserker shield unless you HATE FoG. It's fairly easy to get it in a couple hours of playing time, or if you are somewhat skilled (unlike me :) ) then probably about an hour or less. That is, if you get the shield completely through tokens and don't buy it. Less than 45 minutes if you buy the shield on GE first.
  9. Melee: Slayer, unless you have a kickass PC team. Magic: For some free, fun, and pretty slow xp, FoG is great. Yaks could work. High alching with the update is easier. If you have lots of laws, Camelot teleport is quite fast. Range: Knives at yaks is very, very fast. Bone bolts are cheap for other monsters. You COULD chinch, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be fast at your range level.
  10. I don't normally use charters, but when I do, I glory to Karamja or tele to Falador (no wasting charges ;) ) and run to the docks by Luthas' house.
  11. Yes, the cut rate is identical to the dragon hatchet. It's a hatchet now guys, let's speak of it properly. ;) Anyway, I would suggest using the Oo'glog pool AND bringing a terrorbird with about 100 scrolls. I would use yew or mage logs with the beacons, because then you won't really have to pay the guards since they will burn for a good amount of time. Do a practice run also with like maples or w/e to see how fast you can go. Good luck! :)
  12. Yeah, I've done around 1.1k at the GE using the long southern side. Per hour, I mean. If you kind of focus, but not really hard, you probably could get 1k per hour. If you use the expert method thingy on the east side, then I believe the maximum possible is about 1.3-1.35k per hour. But the method is fairly tough to get right.
  13. Depends on what weapon you'd like to use. If you want to use a whip, get it. If you want a godsword, get 70 and of course, 75. If you don't think a whip would be useful enough, simply don't train attack intentionally. I would just use something like a D2H or Dbaxe until your strength is really high and then switch to whip.
  14. What ladycai said. Sometimes you have to bring marrentills so the person can light the burners. Good luck with whatever prayer level you are getting. :)
  15. Give the guy a break, Troacc. He's not a super-xp-mongering-nerd-person like you. ;) Naw, I'm jk. :)
  16. Gratz Mouse!
  17. That's what I was thinking.
  18. What about getting the SGS and then doing GWD to make money for SS? If you get a hilt or tassets or helms or whatever with a team, you can get a bit of xp and a lot of money for SS. Then you have both! ;)
  19. Farming ranarrs or other such high demand herb.
  20. Yeah, just buy some D bones and look on the RSOF for people saying "Open gilded altar" or something like that. Or if you don't want to spend cash, kill Hill Giants and just bury the bones.
  21. No.... I never said that.
  22. ...Why not cut all the gems you get instead of only doing emeralds? Shilo is still good for craft xp because you can cut all the gems you get. If you get more shilo gems, it doesn't matter because you're still getting craft xp. Or if you tan d'hides just to make money and then buy emeralds.
  23. Oh wow, I didn't even notice he had no defense or prayer... Oopsies. Get prayer up to at least around 70 and do Aviansies.
  24. How

Badly said, please make fewer spelling, capitalization, and punctuation errors.
