My suggestion: Don't be a stupid pure. Pures suck. You get little recognition, a much harder time doing quests, inability to wear good armor, and if you pk, you get owned by the simplest weapon because it can hit you every time. You can't accept rewards from certain quests or can't do certain quests.

How long should it take me to burn about 91k maples for 99 firemaking? I will be burning at the GE, using the south part, with two straight lines across. I know there are faster patterns, but I'd rather do it this way. And NO, I am NOT going to use yews or maples because it would cost more and I have less than 100k cash right now. Also, I've been ranging guards with the dorgeshuun c'bow I bought. In maybe 2 hours of guard killing, I've gotten 3 clues. I have one banked now because I'm getting tired of them, frankly :lol: . Is this normal, or am I simply incredibly lucky? Only good reward had been a zamorak page 3 which I added to my book as the first page.

I suggest coal for money/smithing, or iron for just training. Granite is the best, but I find it is quite a hassle. I did coal, and that is what you should do. Burst rock lobsters. I'm pretty sure that's the big thing these days, or maybe that's for charms. Hmm. I'm not certain.

You really shouldn't die ever at the demon. Stand on the bridge and bring 2-3 prayer pots, a rnage pot, and your best range gear. He can only hit with mage if you stand on the bridge, so pray mage and eagle eye. It's easy, really.

Slayer can help break even on food or even make profit. I suggest a D scim, as it is much better than longsword. Fire giants could be good for your levels. If you are going back to F2P, just use a power amulet. No need to waste on a glory if it will be useless. Armoured zombies are good too.

...says the guy with unranked construction. basically, figure out whether you can simply make money fast enough that getting hammers will take longer. if hammers save time, theyre worth it, if you simply want to cut down on costs, sc hammers would still be a good idea. I've spent enough time in SC to think that training the skill is faster. I'm not an expert seeing as I don't have all 99's but that's just what I think.

Yes, it should take 245 hammers. I suggest not even using the hammers because it takes so much time to get them.

Hey, I'm going for 99 firemaking. Yes, I know I've gone for every other 99, but this time I have it banked. 92.5k maples :( . Gonna take a long time. Anyway, I have been fming at Rouge's Den, but I know the GE is faster. I do the GE with public off on least populated world with every graphic set to low on standard detail, yet it still lags a bit. Any way to reduce it? Also, I have 47 range right now. When I take breaks from firemaking, I plan to train it. Where? How? What monster? etc. I have archer's helm plus full green d'hide and ava's attractor.

Rcing is good money. Fishing too. Woodcutting only gets really good at like 75-80.
