Do I need waterskins for the desert lizards?

I've decided that 99 cooking as my first skillcape would a bit...well...embarassing. So, I'm going to try Hunter. Hunter is fairly fast, and makes a good profit, as well as giving me some ammo for range once I hit 53-63. I will overhaul my bloggeh and hunterize it. :

Any ideas on what I should do to get money for buying more fish?

: Nom's Bloggeh to 99 hunting : IRL I'm of the male gender. Hehe. I enjoy soccer, baseball, COD4 and, at the end of this year, COD6. I also like to read and pet my cat, Dogbert (female ). Take 39, triple it, take away 37, divide by 8, add 2. That's my age, and no, I didn't make any mistakes in that. Though I am probably more mature than most of the people playing RS :lol: . I live in Sudbury, MA, where winters are frigid and summers are drenching. I don't really like school except for UA's (Unified Arts, like music, spanish, engineering, tech, gym, etc. and science and maybe math. Slope intercept ftw! y=mx+b. I do quite well in it though, on my report card I got all A's or A-'s except for a B in Engineering that was total BS. I do put effort in, so I get good grades. As if grades matter at all right now. I have been wanting to get a 99 for around 5 months now. I trained fletching, wcing, and cooking in my search. But now I have it....HUNTING! YES! My goal is 99 hunting by the end of this summer....Yes, that's an extremely easy goal most likely, but meh, w/e. I am currently doing swamp lizards, will move on to desert lizards at 43, gray chinchompas at 53, and red chinchompas at 63. Around 200 more swampers for 43, then I'm off to the desert. FoG is fun and free, but slow xp. Alching can lose money, but it is fast. You could Camelot teleport which would be fast but expensive because of all the laws needed.

What's the point of making them 13 gp? Seriously, does it do anything useful at all? It's not like the economy needs fixing or anything, not the [developmentally delayed]ed U.S (where I live) is falling off a cliff in slow motion. I agree, having hammers be 13 gp is [Developmentally delayed] (I'll just save them mods the times ;) ) But it's only one bank space, not like you have to put hammers in taking one space each. The only really annoying thing is that if you have mems and then go F2P, you can't do much because you can't deposit any new items. SO ANNOYING.

Also has TONS of revenants. Anyway, assuming you are going back to members, Sharks are the better money maker. Few people buy addy ore, making it a possible, but slowish method. Sharks are always in high demand, on the other hand. I suggest fishing lobs in F2P to around 80 if you want to catch sharks at a decent rate.

Yep, Shi Village is the best, but if you don't want to do the quests or whatever else, you can do Lumbridge River.

It's not that I hate Summoning, it's just that I think Jagex made it WAY too expensive/long to train. The methods most serious people use for getting charms is barraging various monsters such as rock lobsters. Seriously, that requires Desert Quest, a very hard quest (not compared to While Guthix Sleeps or anything, but you get the point). The longest and most time consuming part of summoning is obviously getting charms. To reach high goals such as 40's-50's, you could spend WEEKS killing monsters unless you have ice barrage. Jagex is practically forcing us to use hideously expensive methods to get charms at a normal rate. And then you have to buy shards to make pouches, which are 25 gp each. That doesn't sound like much, until you figure how many shards it takes to get level 99. Since it is kind of a basemark, I used the calculator on TIP (Thanks Tippy ) I found out that (I know you couldn't do it, but just to give a estimate) and you need 1,401,552 Dreadfowl pouches to get 1-99. At 8 shards each, that's 11,212,416 shards. Shards at 25 gp each - 280,310,400 gp for 1 to 99 on dreadfowl pouches. Yes, for those of you mathematically challenged, that's 280.3 BILLION gp. Yes, I know that's if you just make the pouches and don't summon them, but even if you did, that would still leave probably over 200 B gp. And that's not even including the charms you have to get yourself. :shock: :shock: . I know for certain I won't have anything near 200B gp in the near future, and I don't think anyone else will either. Plus, the things you can summon aren't THAT helpful. Yes, Bunyips are great, Terrorbirds, Titans, etc. But everything else? Crap. And if you spent the time getting your combat up instead of summoning, you could probably get a 99. I don't have anything against summoning, I just think that Jagex implemented it horribly. Would it be better if you could just buy the charms? But the prices would obviously have to be quite high to keep everything in check, maybe having gold charms be 1-2k each. This still is horribly expensive, but at least you can make the money some other way and then buy charms instead of spending money for equipment to kill for them. Thoughts? Green dragons may be a bit hard at your level, but they are good xp and drop tons of charms. I suggest taking a super set and meleeing them east of clan wars. Moss Giants also work, and Lessers would also be good. And if you've done creature of Fenkenstrain or at least gotten through part, experiments are great xp.

Hey, I've been wanting to get a 99 in any skill for a while now. I'm not sure what to get, because I can't spend that much money on it and many skills are quite boring. I have about 1.5M cash in my bank, excluding armor, whip, runes, etc. etc. I SORELY need a 99, and I am willing to spend all the cash I have and possibly then some. I would prefer it to be somewhat fast, so skills like prayer, rcing, slayer, etc. are out of the picture. My stats are in my hawt siggay, and remember, I have 1.5M to spend and I could make more money to fund something. Best skill for me?

Keep an extremely close eye on the market. If you see it start to decline, wait a bit, see if it continues, then sell. If it stays stable or goes up (most likely) then wait until it starts to drop, then sell. 3rd age mage robes are totally useless for combat, so the only reason to keep them is to let them gain value.

1. I need a good combat training place. I didn't say monster, so it can be whatever. 2. I extremely prefer something where I have a low risk of dying. 3. I have decent armor and weapons, but I would also like advice on some better, but not too expensive stuff. My current set up:Berserker Helm Glory ammy Rune plate Rune legs Guth Book/Rune kite Green Vambs (need something better :| ) Ring of life/wealth/any others I should use? I THINK I have rune boots, If not I should be able to buy some (Just bought a drag axe and it drained me to my items and around 35k cash :( ) Drag Scim/Ddp++ Advice?

If you don't have a good amount of money, Prayer is longest simply because it's extremely slow without ectofuntus and d bones or bd bones. If you have the money, rcing is slowest because you have to ALWAYS pay attention and you don't get a lot of xp. I voted Prayer though because I know I don't have the money, and I'm guessing most other people don't either.

Nobody but one person knows I play RS, and that person isn't exactly popular city (he's one of my best friends though) And he actually played WoW for a while, so I can threaten him with that if he wants to tell others. Most people don't even know what RS is in my school though, so yeah.
